I did this page as an experiment with the idea of turning parts of the story I'm working on with some of my OCs into a series of comic strip panels. Given the number of characters being used and the complexity of this story I don't think a comic would be the best outlet for this story however I'm going to throw a few of these out and see what kind of feedback they get. If nothing more they should be enjoyable for those of you who have taken an interest in my characters or want hints about the the story which has elements that have been shaped by some of the previous polls I posted.
Think of these like movie trailers to the actual narrative.
This first set of pages will be about a dinner party featuring Jake and Waratah visiting Thomas and D'arcy. The product is admittedly a bit rough but I'll give future products a cleaner presentation if these start to build interest. For now I'm just throwing this out to see how people will respond.

Not specifically, the whole theme behind J&W is that a meaningful relationship could be one you had never really imagined.
well i for one would pay to read more comics like these, and definitely more of this short story

And, oh my gosh, the Clutch's actually have one of those old stick phones! Well, pshaw! I have a telegraph in my home!
I'm sure that Waratah is great with kids.

There is a phonograph and a claw foot tub someplace close by.
Wonderful facial expressions. And the papa with the little one is adorable. 
Waratah and the baby interacting with be cute.

I feel like this can be a great comic! My only criticisms are that I feel like you should fix the speech bubbles and organize them better.
I'll clean up the next ones this is mainly a check to see how much interest it gets.

I think it would be fun to see more comics with your characters and their continued adventures. Now I'm curious about how the dinner will go!
The idea that will be really fun is when they run into Jake's ex girlfriend Susan.
Ooh yeah, Susan seems like a pretty hardcore/intense character so that should quite the meet up!
"A bit rough" you say... If my comics looked even a fraction as good, I could die happy It would be great to see more, as this is not only very well drawn, but engaging and funny. Nice job.
