Feline Breed: Kurilian Bobtail - "The original short-haired variant is a natural breed, native to a chain of islands known as the Kurils. This new breed is not well known outside of its native territories. In the wild, this cat is an excellent fisher and hunter, which may explain why the Kurilian loves to play in water. It is known for its clever and gentle nature. The variety is mostly known for its distinctive "pom-pom" kinked, short tail."

    Quiet and a little bit awkward, Shinriki is still learning to come out of his shell around strangers. A wallflower at heart, he truly wants to meet others-- he simply has no idea how to hold a conversation, ending up either painfully polite or a little too excited. Stalwart to a fault, he puts his all into everything he does, even if it takes him longer than others to do or if its just plain too difficult for him. Poor muffin doesn't know when to give up on something he promised someone. Mostly as a result of his disability, he is more than a bit clumsy, and likely to painstakingly take his time with things to avoid messing up because of this. He approaches new challenges with an air of curiousity and caution, and frankly tends to panic a bit if he thinks he's getting himself into yet another situation where he might dissapoint someone (including relationships).

History:
        Shinkriki is an Ainu boy born as the first and only child to a young, happy couple. His mother worked as a dry cleaner, and his father as a shopkeep, with Shinriki's grandfather staying home during the day and watching over the young boy. They were never overly well off, but things werent ever overtly difficult, either. He never grew up with much in the way of possessions or privilege, but never saw himself as unprivileged.  
    Things soon changed when he was diagnosed, age nine, with muscular dystrophy, a disorder that was the cause behind the boys increasing weakness. This changed things in their life, certainly, and they struggled to make up costs and care for him, but time moved on things fell into a sort of routine of sorts. Never very popular in school, he grew up to become a quiet sort of boy-- certainly not unhappy, but feeling somewhat ostracized for his disability. He had always struggled to fit in with others, after all, and couldnt help but see this as his own failings, rather than anyone elses.
    From a very young age his grandfather had instilled in him the value of hard word and having a passion, and in time, as his strength continued to decline, Shinriki was introduced to gardening. This became his passion, caring for and watching seeds and sprouts grow into big and strong plants became something he loved-- and perhaps in a way, this made up for his lack of friends.
    But there came a time in his life where this wasnt enough, and with a small spark of adventure in his heart he left home to live on his own for the first time, far from where he had grown up. A small town like Neko Oasis suited him just fine.

Dislikes:
- His tiny little tail; hes maybe a tiny envious of the more common long and sleek tails
- Hot, dry weather
- Scary movies; you might call him a bit of a scaredycat.
- April Fool's Day; his birthday is April 1st, and being pranked isnt a very nice gift....
- Flirty types; he gets a bit flustered

Extras:
- He has Becker's muscular dystrophy, something which has over time made it difficult for him to even walk. He's shown here with his crutches and wearing leg braces, but more often than not he is wheelchair bound much of the day.
- He might cry if you give him nice things (つ﹏<。)･ﾟ･。
- He wears almost exclusively various sweaters and graphic sweatshirts.
- He needs cuddles. Give him cuddles.
