Little Leif, the first of the Nordanners to be stabled here, was not so little when he arrived. Calm as a house pet, and usually just as willing as one, he has to be the most useful here. He does not balk at unusual things like cows or sheep, little kids and foals don't annoy him, and even if left unhaltered and untacked, he will not move from the spot he's in. Leif is perfectly content to stay in the sun, but he has a complete and utter aversion to rain. For some unknown reason, he absolutely refuses to go out when it is dark and cloudy, and/or about to rain; will not budge, no matter how hard his face is pulled on. During this time, we often load him up into a trailer to go see his friend Mystere, and hope that maybe that stallion will beat some sense into ours.
