Dear Death
Dear death,
When you do visit me, dont be a stranger... come like an old friend.
You have long been expected, you have long been wanted, desired.
When you do visit me, dont rush....
sit next to me, hold my hand and feel the emptiness inside my soul
So many hands i have held waiting for you, dear death....
None could feel, nor share the burning, ashfilled agony....
You come from the surface beneath, right? So, you must know
the core of that furnace!! The same that burns me inside!!!
When you do visit me, dont ask me if I want to go!!
I want to go, i been wanting to go for so long now,
so long that I cant even remember how long i have
been dead.
Dear death, come bearing a pair of flip flop
I have never seen anyone walk around with death on a
Flipflop.
Dear death, if you see me
lay on the ground, half musted bow and a broken stern
know that....
the boat sunk and the mighty water winning slow
and I wait for you, dear death... you friend awaits.
