Kion Expression Sheet

I love how expressive animated characters are! That’s one of the reasons I think animation is superior to live action. I needed some practice drawing different character expressions, so I figured I might as well do my favorite character.

I hand-traced all of these from screenshots I picked out throughout the show, but it was still a lot of work. I think the end result is fun so I thought I’d share it. It was definitely helpful for me in making my character designs more expressive! I’d like to do one of these expression sheets for each member of the Guard, but I’m not sure if I’ll ever get around to it. This one took days, but it was so much fun, so we’ll see if I get the time.
