Hunt and Rescue - Epilogue

Sometime later, after Zack's rescue, a Bizmark-class Dreadnought that belongs to the Zurg Remnants under Grim's command exits quantum speed and approaches the Iotis, where the Monarch-class Mothership orbits around the planet. on board the mothership, Kordahk sees the Zurg Dreadnought through the window of the bridge

Kordahk: hey, isn't that the ship that belongs to Grim and his men that Monova hired?

AD1 Pilot Wardroid: sir, we're getting a transmission from the Dreadnought.

meanwhile, on the surface of Iotis, Monova stands in front of a window at the top of the base's central tower, still angered by Zack and his friends escape, when her advisor, XT-50, enters the room to speak to his Queen

XT-50: Queen Monova, Kordahk has informed me that Grim has arrived and wishes to speak to you in person.

Monova:*turns around and is intrigued* Grim? hmmm, this is surprising. have him meet me in the Sector 1-8 hangar bay.

XT-50: as you wish, your highness.

later, a single Darkray-class Shuttle enters the planet's atmosphere as it flies towards the Nazarum Imperial Base and enters one of the hangar bays in the structures, where Monova, accompanied by two AD1 Wardroids, both armed with MDW-8 Blaster Rifles, awaits. after the shuttle lands, it's frontal ramp lowers and 6 Zurgbot Hornets marches out, three of them stands in attention on the left and the other three does the same on the right. after that, Grim himself walks out of the shuttle, walks past his Zurgbot minions, and approaches Monova

Monova: ah, Grim. how nice to see you again.^^ i trust the Wardroids i gave you helped you in your endeavors?

Grim: they did...until most of them were destroyed.

Monova: oh, how terrible. what happened?

Grim: my men were in the process of rebuilding my army, until it was interrupted by a Militia group. only a small percentage of my forces were built. hardly enough to take a planet. during this, one of my men was forced to give up the location of where your prey was being held.

Monova: what!? oh...so that's how his friends knew where he was. which one of your men gave up his location?

Grim: does it matter? i was hoping to contact you, but there's been problems with the Dreadnought's communications array. so i came to warn you in person that Zack's companions are on his way.

Monova: oh really? well you're too late to warn me now. his friends came and left with him sometime ago. they're long gone now and we have no idea where he is now! after all the trouble...

Grim: i believe we can help each other in this.

Monova:*confused* what do you mean?

Grim: tell me, have you met a female Wolf with white fur, black hair, wears blue, and carries a staff?

Monova: i have. quite feisty, i must say. why do you ask?

Grim: her name is Sheera, she's a Talan, a group of magic-wielding warriors that protects the galaxy from threats to peace. until 12 years ago, their order was destroyed when the Zenarans glassed the planet Aruta and scattered the survivors.

Monova: very interesting. but what does this have to do with anything?

Grim: 2 years ago, i assembled an army and a small fleet to conquer a planet to act as a stepping stone towards resurrecting the Zurg Empire. but because of Sheera, all my efforts, plans, have been destroyed! reduced to what you see.

Monova: hmmm, it seems we have much in common then i thought.^^

Grim: we now share a common interest: getting revenge on those that destroyed our plans. thus, i purpose an alliance, between our forces.

Monova: an alliance? hmmm, how interesting.^^ but tell me, why should i join forces with you?

Grim: i can tell you're an outsider. thus, you do not know this galaxy like i do. no doubt Zack and Sheera will be returning to Cadus. it is the fortress world of the Earth Federation, one of the governing bodies of this galaxy. despite the recent Zenaran attack on the planet, it is still well defended. but with our combined strength, we can penetrate their defenses and invade Cadus. we both get what we want.

Monova:*chuckles* if it's a matter of strength and numbers, then i do not need you to accomplish MY goals. because i've...learned that hidden in this base lies a great army to replace the one that was destroyed on Suheria Prime. i will use this army to invade this planet Cadus and kill Zack with my bare hands!

Grim: and does your ship have the capacity to carry such an army? and even if it did, do you think your mighty vessel can withstand a large fleet of Federation ships?

Monova: um...

Grim: my Dreadnought has enough room to carry an army. what do you say?*holds out his left hand*

Monova:*thinks about it for a minute until she comes to a decision* i say...why not?

Monova shakes Grim's hand, forming an alliance between their two armies. meanwhile, deep beneath the base, the Wardroids has managed to get a large door opened and on the other side is a large chamber that houses numerous dark-colored robots known as Shadowbots, the robotic minions of one of the Dark Lord's Generals prior to their defection to the rebels during the Great Rebellion. not long after, all the Shadowbots becomes active, ready to follow the orders of their new commander
