Description
A lone mecha pilot patrols the grounds of a Gessen Manufacturing facility.
Been working on this one for quite a while! It's a much more challenging and ambitious piece than I'm accustomed to, and I feel like I learned a lot from attempting it. This is kind of a visual exploration piece for a game design I've been kicking around for a while, with the idea of making a scene like this in UDK somewhere down the line.

6/6/10 - Revisited and detailed it out more, kicked the jpeg up to 1280x960.

Great use of color and composition, plenty can be learned from this piece! I dig the mecha design too, nice balance of bigger clean areas of plating and more complicated structuresunderneathe, faved!
