Edit as of 11/13/2022: While I may have jumped the gun too quick, after some mulling and talking with some family, I was convinced to sort of linger around DA. I'm STILL heated. I’m still extremely frustrated with DA’s take on AI art, and their ridiculous ‘opt in’ feature that would have screwed over artists that had lost their accounts, passed away, or had WAY too many pieces to manually opt out of. Deleting my gallery seemed like the quickest and safest way to protect my art from them, as I simply didn’t want to give them a chance to abuse it. I'm still skeptical and wary of how long this may last, however. With the encouragement, I’m looking at this as, sort of, fresh start? I had a lot of extremely old art buried deep within the belly of the beast, and it might be refreshing to start new at a higher skill level. I’ve been arting for over 11 years now at least.
