I just really love dragons, especially the scary looking ones :D:D But I haven't drawn many in the past because my skill didn't match my imagination and i was disappointed whenever i drew one. Even now, this dragon was initially ment to be a white dragon but i spilled a rainbow on it as usual. But i didn't mean to, i have issues.

The idea behind this drawing was that he just breathed fire.

Anyway, i think my skills finally caught up a bit so you'll probably see many more dragons from me from  now on. I just, what can i say, DRAGONS!!! /flails

for video process, step by step, dragon scale brush i made especially for this drawing, PSDs, High resolution files check out my Patreon www.patreon.com/yuuza

Love Dragons. I like this one. Honestly, took me a while to look at it to realize what I was seeing wrong with it. I think I can pin it down to dimensions and shadowing. His head looks a bit too big for his body, even taking in the account of the angle it still looks slightly to big. His front looks like it's coming closer to his left arm than down the center. His spikes look a bit off, this I think is all the shadowing issues I mentioned earlier. His left arm (the one in the foreground) looks tiny for the rest of him.
I do love the smoke effects! How his wing is splitting the cloud and the smoke billowing out of his mouth. The background was nice imagery of a blurred landscape as he's flying. I like the fire building in his chest and getting ready to flow out of his mouth again. The colors are good.
Over all, very nice. Like I said, it took a bit for my eyes to realize anything wrong but just some work on dimensions and shadowing would make this guy unstoppable! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/>
