The vague process of making an origami winged koi. Sorry I couldn't make a real tutorial, it's actually really hard to show how it's done without a video camera.

The first picture shows the crease pattern. For you hardcore origami enthusiasts out there, you can probably figure out how to make the fish just by looking at that. There is no other tutorial for this online since this is an original design by me. However, there is the amazing dollar koi tutorial by Wong Park if you want to make a koi without wings.

Anyway, this origami fish is huge, as you can tell by the size of the paper compared to the table. I got the rapping paper for $2 lol. My roommate named the fish Fat Louie XD

This took me about 5 hours to make *sob*

Thank you so much for showing how it starts. I get it. I had no idea how you could start with a rectangle and get something that is narrow. Again, just thanks. Also it looks beautiful.

think you could consider doing a more in-depth process? I'd really love to try this! (I think I could get the creasing eventually, it's after that I'm going wtf) Also, what were the dimensions for this approximately (1:4, 1:2, 3:5, etc.)
