GIMP is nice as well, a bit closer to Photoshop :)
All my photographs get some sort of editing, because often when they come from the camera they could use a little boost!

I think you miss Linux here Where you do mention ports of Linux programs like the gimp. Have a look here f.i. what a protographer say about DigiKam www.ericsbinaryworld.com/2012/…

Nah, I didn't miss it. I just haven't had requests from people who use Linux

Nah you wouldn't :-) On Linux most everything is free because it's community driven.  But it might be good for people who don't know Linux yet to know what is around.

Yeah, Pixlr and Polarr are very good. I really like Polarr, but my computer doesn't...

However, I've had the problem that photos that I edit with Pixlr lose their EXIF data, and so I can't upload them to PhotographyGuide assignments. Is there I way I can fix this?

You can look up the EXIF data on your original file, and place it in the description of your photograph! The EXIF data helps us give feedback, but if it's on the photo or in the description does not matter :)

Serif requires a product key to install.

You can also use it without the key, only a few functions less, from what I read.

Google isn't doing any more updates to the program now. They announced it back in February. It might still be available for download, but there won't be any updates sent out.
