I'm just surprised at how long it's taking to see all deviations posted by everyone I'm watching, just because I watch too many people and because I spent too much time without checking it. From the 12K deviations, now I'm down to 5K, but it's still a lot. I'm thankful that at least deviations are grouped in stacks, so I can check the best ones of each artist (since good artists, if their art is scattered around, I'd probably check all of them). Certainly, the 1st thing that foreigners think about Brazil is about our very famous Carnival (or about soccer). And of course, it's undeniable that these 2 things generates a LOT of income.
But it's really interesting as, apart from the Northeast region of the country plus Rio and São Paulo, Carnival is much less important.
For someone such as me, who lives on the Southern region, the only reason I heard about Carnival is because it's a holiday and people would make trips for the extended weekend (but summer-related trips, not related to Carnival parties themselves). And MANY people did work on Carnival day, despite (as far as I know)
