Papercraft commission of Sailor Moon, Princess Serenity, and two Venuses! (…Venusi…?) There was sooo much lovely hair to cut out in this one; I had a ton of fun with it. Extra-detailed pieces take a lot of time, but the end result is super satisfying!
I love Venus's dedication to her princess. A true friend and knight in shining armor.
I love all the subtle differences between the Venuses! The eyes especially! This is very awesome. Love the holographic sword~
Thank you! The client specifically requested that Silver Millennium Venus have gold eyes and a gold bow, so it was fun putting in these tiny little differences in her outfit and expression and seeing how the effect differed from regular Venus. ^_^
Wow! Super impressive and beautiful work!
The sword turned out amazing!
Oh wow, this is so amazing and beautiful! It must've taken you a while to cut out the shape of all that hair! It's intricately done!
Yes, the hair took a while. It can be kind of relaxing cutting out a lot of those kinds of details, though! I put on music or a podcast or something and just let my hands work while I listen.
all of that hair! how do you plan all of it?
Haha, I mostly just throw down some gesture lines, then once I know the general shape and direction I'd like the hair to have, I start getting more detailed.
This is just awesome! I love the intricacy of the hair!
Oh wow, the composition is just so lovely and ALL THE SPARKLY HAIR!!! Love how they are all a different shade of yellow/gold! Really loving the sword's texture *A*
Thank you! ^_^ The sword is actually made of a reflective mirror paper, so I was surprised when it scanned in kind of rainbow-toned. It looks neat, though!
The details in the hair of each of them is amazing, I like how you used different designs even on the venusi? lol You could tell when one begins and the other ends. Paper craft has always been neat I just don't have the time or patients for it. So Kudos on anyone that could do it and make it spectacular!
Thank you! I was worried that the two Venuses (whatever the plural form is, ha) would end up blending together, so I'm pleased you can tell where each begins and ends. ^_^ And thank you for the kind words about papercrafting!
beautiful! love the composition and details
dat glitter thought!! <3
I really like the hair flowing throughout - gives it a nice movement!
This one is just so gorgeous! All those little details are so amazing. I love the use of the gems as accents, and you again nailed it with paper choices. <3
Which one is your favorite character?,fantastic artwork by the way.
