I'll probably never be able to do something like this, so only critique coming from an amateur is that the light source kind of draws the eye away from the ship, so that might be a problem with its composition (unless it was intentional effect). This is just a personal opinion though so nothing too serious. The buildings could have some more dynamic or slightly complex shapes and less bright colours to give it a more commercial facility looks instead of mostly bright red rectangles which look similar to dry storage containers so at a glance the buildings look more like a shipping containers stacked like on cargo ships. I am probably cherry picking too much, so sorry in that case. Have a good day

The execution of this piece is stunning; the details are immense and the shading fits very well considering the object in focus (the space station) exists in space where light works differently than through an atmosphere.

However, many of the buildings seem a bit more like containers stacked upon each other with the boxy shape; some more creativity with the shape would have improved this work greatly. Of course, this depends on what kind of "society" you strive to give off.

The colours are nice and soft, however, this palette has been used many times before and could easily make this piece look like a generic google search. The potential is there to make this work more original just by colour-choice alone. In future artworks, colours with more contrast like in your other works would help a lot in giving a more unique feel to the colours, which in return would make the art more outstanding.

All in all, great execution, however, there is a lot of potential - with the colours especially - that has been lost, making the piece less memorable.

A Truly beautiful artwork. Everything is done to such a perfect details. The colors used are amazing, shadow details are spectacular and and make a beautiful contrast with each other. The Imagination used while designing the artwork is quite admirable. The idea of the artwork is very good, a city of the far future built in space, because their blind-folded use of resources turned their home planet lifeless. The other planet in the background seems to be either a natural planet left barren and lifeless, or a new habitable nation is being built. Either way, the concept is very amazing.

This is an amazing peice of concept art.
Plus points: The station itself is pretty good. Very detailed. I also quite like the way you have done the reflection on the central bit. The space background is also very well done, and the reds and the black look fantastic together.
Down: (not that major really) The planet in the background looks a bit off to me. Its good, but not as good as the rest of it.... but since its not the central focus, its okay.
Overall, around ~4.5/5
Also (why i rated low in originality) while this IS very good, there are many such space station themed works out there. But it seems to be among the best.

In space there's no gravity, but it seems like the buildings have up and down,
so it looks more like a tower than a space station.

Well, Aritifical gravity or some sort of mechanical gravity is possible... and from a Human perspective having an up and down is rather helpful

Really nice. It reminds me of Star Trek Deep Space Nine space station

the ring is rotating, right?
if it so then why the buildings / models are built vertical instead of horizontal?
with this kind of construction the people will pushed outward and walk on the wall.

fun fact: rockets usually launch from the equator into space because the earth gravity is on the equator a bit lower.

Nice.  I like how everything sort of looks like it's built from repurposed storage containers.  :) (Smile)
