Oni Akane Tendo

I started watching Ranma 1/2 recently and for some reason I started to imagine a story behind Akane Tendo's anger and her family bloodline potentially having connections to Yokai.

Like "Main years ago, the Tendo family made a deal with an Oni to gain great power. The Oni gave them what they wanted but as a result the Tendo bloodline was cursed with the temper of an Oni."

And after learning of that story Akane manages to unlock the ability to turn into an Oni and through practice and heavy meditation she managed to control her temper much better causing her to rarely go into an anger induced outburst.
