We’re making an update to how Daily Deviations are granted to offer even more artists across the community a chance to be discovered and celebrated.  Starting now, artists who have won a Daily Deviation will be eligible to earn their next in 12 months. This increase from 6 months isn't the first of its kind, and each increase has allowed for even more artists to join in the coveted spotlight.  With a community of over 100 million registered users, it's a great source of pride that Daily Deviations reflect the depth and variety of creativity on DeviantArt.  Extending the "cooldown" is one way to make more room for new and emerging artists across mediums, while still celebrating exceptional work, whether it's your first award or your fifth!
