( LINK BELOW ! ) I am so tired of social media theese days. I am turning 34 this year, and I never felt "old" - except, if I look around the internet theese days, I DO feel old. I miss the old days, where it was easy to connect to people on forums, or like here on deviantart. But then came the big rise of social media. I remember when one of my favourite artists back that days - Stephanie Pui Mun Law - started to become more and more active on instagram, and less and less active on her old traditional word-press blog, that I loved soooo much. And then the day came, when she closed the blog - and so did others. I had the feeling that this was the time when things became more and more commercial, "professional" in a sense, yes - but also more sterile, less personal... Theese days it feels so weird to try to connect to people online via art... it feels weird to connect to someone at all... And this feeling when you try to share something online, via instagram etc. just to notice
