This is a new comic I'm going to try to finish. It was heavily inspired by Reitanna-Seishin
's well-known My Little Pony story "Muffins", which in and of itself is a sequel to Sergeant Sprinkle's popular grimdark story "Cupcakes". This story started as a roleplay between myself and one of my dear friends Karnelia
, so this entire storyline is not just mine. She played the character Sans -- who is known as Comic Relief as a pony -- while I played everyone else in the story.
Now, I understand that Reitanna does not like the franchise "Undertale", as stated in the description to one of her Muffins Side Stories -- I believe it was "All That Glitters", but I could be wrong -- but I still hope that she will enjoy and appreciate the effort I have put into this story. I have already asked her prior to uploading the cover to the comic if she would be okay with me publishing it, and she gave my approval. I also hope I have gotten the character traits of the seven Bakers correct, as I was the one who played them in the roleplay.
Now, two things I must state: first and foremost, the story series "Muffins", the altered personalities and cutie marks of the Bakers, the character Obsidian Minkie Pie, and the majority of the torture methods used are property of Reitanna Seishin. I do not intend to steal any of her ideas or creations and claim them as my own, and I apologize in advance if there are any loopholes between this comic and the rest of the series as a whole. This story was made as a tribute and appreciation for her fantastic story.
Sans and Papyrus -- Comic Relief the unicorn and Al Dente the pegasus -- are property of Toby Fox, for he is the one who created the video game Undertale, and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is property of Hasbro.
And lastly, the designs of Sans' and Papyrus' pony versions, as well as their pet cat Angel, are completely mine. The designs for the brothers may have been inspired by other artists' depictions of them, but I was the one who created unique designs for them with the help of various references.
Secondly -- THIS PART CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR THE MUFFINS SERIES, SO BE SURE TO READ IT FULLY BEFORE READING THIS COMIC
-- this comic is going to be thrust right into the beginning of the torture, so here is some context for literally everybody tuning in: in their home world, Sans, Papyrus, and Angel -- who can speak English because she ingested magic from Flowey's leaf as a kitten -- see My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic as a television program, and Papyrus himself is a huge fan, thus knowing everything that has happened in the show. On top of that, there was once a time where Sans and Angel were sucked away into the dimension itself through a portal at Sans' workplace, so they are also familiar with quite a bit of how the show goes -- as well as the characters themselves getting to know them.
Upon entering Equestria, the three are thrust right into the eye of the story; Pinkie, Inkie, Blinkie, and Minkie have just been broken out and are commanded by a police stallion to hide, so they hide away in Fluttershy's now abandoned cottage, just before the pegasus was killed after leaving the hospital from the Bakers' first attack on her, Rarity, and Twilight Sparkle. Babs Seed had seen these two newcomers fleeing, and she knew them to be newcomers, and therefore they wouldn't truly know who the Bakers were, let alone the entire gravity of the situation. She lures the three into the Everfree Forest to the Castle of the Two Sisters, where the new torture dungeon was set up, and they were ambushed -- even though the brothers didn't have numbers of their own.
So yeah, this comic takes place in the timeline between Twilight's Fall and The Final Crusade.
I hope you all like it!
