Looking through your gallery it seems as though characters are the main theme in your artwork. It seems to me that your strengths lie in expressions and story telling through the characters that you draw. The poses are varied and interesting to look through, and it seems as though you have a story in mind behind every picture.
I really like the look of your finished, polished pieces, such as “Mommy Likes Purple Seashells”, “Millennial Bats”, and “Solar Surfing Lilo”. They have great detail, I love the dramatic lighting in “Millennial Bats” and I like the background and action in “Solar Surfing Lilo”. I notice that a lot of your work has very minimilistic backgrounds; I think you do a great job with them in the pieces where you flesh them out, and I’d love to see more of them.
Your characters are quite expressive, and I think you do a great job of showing body language with their poses and movements. I like some of the sketches that you have where the poses are more dynamic and action oriented, and I think it would be interesting to see some more action packed full illustrations as well. Some tutorials that may help with this:
It looks to me like you have a good understanding of the foundations in your work; I think it might be fun to try and play around with things, such as the more dynamic poses, or fuller backgrounds, or even smaller things like colour schemes and contrast. All in all I think your gallery shows off a lot of interesting characters, keep up the good work!
