When I was all alone that day
You reached out your hand
You took me under your wing
And I knew this was fate

From that moment you saved me
I became indebted to you
So from now on I'll be with you
Always, always

You are my liege
I am your vassal
Until the moment I pass
I will serve your interests

Even when you disappear
I will trust in your return
So to protect you
I will tell everyone lies

One day I found myself lost
In a completely foreign place
The girl who came to greet me
Told me you were a criminal

To find this out for myself
I ran across the universe to find you
And when I see you again
The repressed feelings come out

You are my liege
I am your vassal
Until the moment I pass
This relationship will never change

So I will shove my feelings down
And continue to serve you
And to protect you
I will tell you lies

As I continue to be with you
I notice more of your changes
The person you are now
Is almost a complete stranger

Yet this other person
Is the one who reciprocates
And you begin to treat me
With just a hint of kindness

You are my liege
I am your vassal
Until the moment I pass
We'll always be together

Even though you've become harsh
I hope we're still in love
So to protect me
I will myself lies

From that moment you saved me
I became indebted to you
But I hope you forgive me for this
Someday, someday

You are the first You are the last You are the present You are the past You are my soul You are my light You are my life raft You are my knight New mercies each day You have given to me Because of You I believe Even though I miss the mark And sin pulls us Farther apart You make me strong You never let me go I know this because You love me so.

There are two things I Will never forget from that night: The horrible screams of people Running from their plight and The tears running freely Down my face. They told us nothing was wrong, Although their eyes were wide with fear. “Listen to me!” my father said, “Everything will be alright, Dear.” But the tears were running freely Down my face. “The ship’s unsinkable! This must be some mistake!” My mother’s face was grim And her hands began to shake. And the tears ran freely Down her face. I stepped into the lifeboat Not wanting to believe. I cried out to my father. He wasn

listen: fall makes me think of leaving and of apple cider, though i never liked apple cider. but i liked the idea of it. listen: two years ago i met a boy as fragile as dead leaves who called me his little spring girl. (i'd always liked autumn the best.) he kissed the two soft dimples on the small of my back and told me helikedme helovedme hewantedme. and oh, by the way, "everything good must come to an end." listen: on our one year anniversary we picked out two pumpkins and i drew elephants on them for us to carve. he cut his out so aggressively that it lost its shape. lopped off tusks and broken trunks became just a large, jagged ho
