At the beginning
There was only darkness
Then someone
Thought

The multiverse
Created by brainwaves
The possibilities
Truly are endless

A world controlled
By the whims of meddlers
With life given
The ability to choose

However whatever they do
Is pointless in the end
As in another iteration
The opposite occurred

The futility of life
Makes many weavers laugh
Other seamstresses wish
To help these poor souls

Raising some of them
To gain the powers of Gods
They now help monitor
The insects they were a part of

The most visible deity
Is one who was once like them
She helps prevent
The overgrowth of the universe

By chopping off parasites
And preventing extra branches
She tries her hardest to
Not get attached to this bush

The multiverse
Created by brainwaves
The possibilities
Seem endless

Two higher gods
Help raise insects
To their level
A duo that creates balance

One without the other
Would surely cause
This multiverse to perish
So they maintain an uneasy alliance

One group they raised
Now hold their own domain
As judgers of all
Who ever existed

Their work will never end
Given to them as an apology
But is this truly better
Than the world they were saved from?

Coming down from the ether
Results in worlds full of magic
With twelve basic forms
Reverberating throughout spacetime

With some being born with
And others experimented upon to gain
The magics affect
The course of each world's history

The first world made machines
Used to create glimmers of magic
The world soon becomes divided
Between the haves and have-nots

The second world had monsters
Coming from another world
The scientists use their magic
To make their own soldiers

The third world was peaceful
Didn't know of any magic
Until a seamstress came down
And reigned destruction

The fourth world is normal
No magic to be seen
Until Fate comes and gifts
Powers to help protect the worlds

The fifth world is corporate
Manipulating children for fun
But the game they created
Has more twists than expected

The sixth world is futuresque
With technology creating anything
The children find themselves changed
By the unknown whims of inventors

The seventh world is full of war
Two opposing factions fighting for control
Only the alliance of two children
Could possibly set things right

The eighth world is full of mystery
With myth coming back from history
The heirs of this legacy
Decide the future of their heritages

The ninth world has a girl
Who lost almost everything
She stands up and fights
For the people she lost

The tenth world full of promise
Has a group of children holding hope
They control the destiny of everyone
Only after they lose everything

The eleventh world is unique
With ancient heroes coming back
They fight to protect their city
Without knowing the consequences

The twelfth world is simple
Home to three young boys
Their music may one day
Change the course of history

The thirteenth world is cursed
To repeat itself forever
Until someone steps in
And saves the seven reincarnations

With these worlds
Only a fraction of them all
Maybe one day
More will be featured

Until then
These histories keep marching
Struggling to one day
Find an impossible peace

There are two things I Will never forget from that night: The horrible screams of people Running from their plight and The tears running freely Down my face. They told us nothing was wrong, Although their eyes were wide with fear. “Listen to me!” my father said, “Everything will be alright, Dear.” But the tears were running freely Down my face. “The ship’s unsinkable! This must be some mistake!” My mother’s face was grim And her hands began to shake. And the tears ran freely Down her face. I stepped into the lifeboat Not wanting to believe. I cried out to my father. He wasn

You are the first You are the last You are the present You are the past You are my soul You are my light You are my life raft You are my knight New mercies each day You have given to me Because of You I believe Even though I miss the mark And sin pulls us Farther apart You make me strong You never let me go I know this because You love me so.

listen: fall makes me think of leaving and of apple cider, though i never liked apple cider. but i liked the idea of it. listen: two years ago i met a boy as fragile as dead leaves who called me his little spring girl. (i'd always liked autumn the best.) he kissed the two soft dimples on the small of my back and told me helikedme helovedme hewantedme. and oh, by the way, "everything good must come to an end." listen: on our one year anniversary we picked out two pumpkins and i drew elephants on them for us to carve. he cut his out so aggressively that it lost its shape. lopped off tusks and broken trunks became just a large, jagged ho

Time to look at how many stories and characters I have! Save me

As of the day this poem was published, seven of the worlds can be found in my other poems. The other six have poems planned for the future.

I'll let you figure out which is which. ;)
