I am the blacksmith
Manipulator of all
I will forge this world
Into my own image

I was once a human
A lowly peasant
One day I found a bies
He gave me eternity

The power comes at a cost
The debt can only be repaid
In payments of flesh
A real-life vampir

The world changes
I stay the same
And slowly
My power grows

I gain power again and again
Yet I give it up continuously
In order to feign the idea
That I remain a human

As time ticks by
Others come and go
Nobody lasts long
They're all novices

The bies keeps coming back
Just to check in
Clearly I'm the creation
He's most proud of

He misses his timely visit
I search and find him in a girl
I can't believe this wimp
Took his power for herself

I will destroy this girl
Who's keeping my creator trapped
The best way to destroy her
Is with herself

So I travel to her country
Take a new name for myself
And track down the "heroine"
Abusing my maker's powers

I fight her one day
Take her blood for myself
And I replicate her
To the best of my abilities

Some parts are missing
I substitute my own blood
Soon I've created
A boy two years her junior

He's trained to be my son
Do my every wish
He knows his purpose
Is to destroy his other self

I will free my creator
The bies gave me everything
So I will give my everything
To save him in turn

Just when I think I've won
My wishes fly away
My son abandons me
And runs away with my prize

So the blacksmith searches again
I will find my son
He will pay for
Everything he took from me

You are the first You are the last You are the present You are the past You are my soul You are my light You are my life raft You are my knight New mercies each day You have given to me Because of You I believe Even though I miss the mark And sin pulls us Farther apart You make me strong You never let me go I know this because You love me so.

There are two things I Will never forget from that night: The horrible screams of people Running from their plight and The tears running freely Down my face. They told us nothing was wrong, Although their eyes were wide with fear. “Listen to me!” my father said, “Everything will be alright, Dear.” But the tears were running freely Down my face. “The ship’s unsinkable! This must be some mistake!” My mother’s face was grim And her hands began to shake. And the tears ran freely Down her face. I stepped into the lifeboat Not wanting to believe. I cried out to my father. He wasn

listen: fall makes me think of leaving and of apple cider, though i never liked apple cider. but i liked the idea of it. listen: two years ago i met a boy as fragile as dead leaves who called me his little spring girl. (i'd always liked autumn the best.) he kissed the two soft dimples on the small of my back and told me helikedme helovedme hewantedme. and oh, by the way, "everything good must come to an end." listen: on our one year anniversary we picked out two pumpkins and i drew elephants on them for us to carve. he cut his out so aggressively that it lost its shape. lopped off tusks and broken trunks became just a large, jagged ho
