Backdrop : Well, there is nothing I can say to justify this. This ship is nonsense to the square roots of cotton candy clouds.
Yet, the idea of these two trying to outgambit each other is just so much fun. For all his powers and trickery, Celestia still bested him with only two moves and knowing exactly how he would act. It'd be a neverending contest with Celestia always one step ahead.
Here Discord may have painted on the sun — annoy the sun goddess 101 — while all Celestia does is turning his wing into sentient mushrooms, a comparatively small disgrace. He's about to discover said mushrooms are immune to him, obey Celestia and never shut up.
All in all, this is an entry to the contest over at #CelestiaCord, with the theme of autumn. I started out with the prompt of playing in leaves. If Luna can animate toys into living spiders, Celestia can probably do similar things on a more experienced level (she is older after all). Plus, it's Discord's wing. He doesn't need to make sense.
Sometime halfway during working on this I learned of a certain fandom generated interpretation of stretched wings. I wasn't about to go scrap the image, but I probably would have chosen another pose if I'd known earlier. Meh.
