hi! kinda! i still check on here at least once a week
Hello there; Sorry for dropping in unannounced, but I would like to ask you something:
What do you think of Visual Novels?
From my personal interpretation of facts, there are two main categories within the video game genre known as Visual Novel, along with a third variety:
1. Investigation
2. Simulation
3. The third variety is something that I personally call "Hybrid" due to it being essentially a combination of both main categories.
Here are some videos that could help you out in regards to Investigation and Hybrid Visual Novels:

The main series titles of the Ace Attorney franchise are examples of a Hybrid Visual Novel.
The term Visual Novel refers to a story that is a essentially graphic novel commonly shown in form of a game.
A non-interactive variety is called Kinetic Novel.
