Wow. That's beautiful- the colors, the character, the flowers! You're an excellent artist and this simply amazes me.

Sorry, I can't give advanced critique on mediums I don't use. That's not real fair to people, when you make something up. So, I just state the obvious^^;

Wow, your OC skills are amazing Yinsey! ^o^ I don't really understand the tools in OC so I can't help you, sorry! X_X;; But good luck with it! ^^
I love your original charactes and art style! The way you do the eyes and coloring is very unique and very "Yinsey's art"-ish! XD And I envy you how you can CG so fast and get eye-catchy results! ^3^
Her right arm may look a little odd and need improvement, but overall this is really well done! Keep up the awesome work! :heart:

I don't know about OC but in Photoshop there is a tool called Pen.

You can draw paths with it. It is really easy to use. Choose the pen tool and click the starting point of the line and then click the ending point of the line that you want to draw.

Then it draws you a path witch you can manipulate by adding draggin points in it.

Just put the the pen tool over the place where you want to add the drag point and click it. Now you can manipulate the path by pressing down Ctrl and clickin the drag point. (hold down the ctrl and mouse button).

You can delete paths from the path page in the layer/channels/paths window

If you want to close an active path press Esc. After you have drawn the paths you can paint them by using the stroke path- function. The the pen tool and right click the mouse -> choose stroke path.

In the stroke path window there is box which says simulate pressure. Tick the box if you want to simulate pen pressure. If you just want to draw normal lines don't tick the box.

The best way to learn to use it is just to practise with it. I hope this helps atleast a bit.

(check out my drawings and tell me if that is what you think about my outlines in my drawings.)

(btw, if you want to get clean lines learn to make use of the path tool .. however that's for PS T-T .. once you get used to it, it'll be a good asset to you ^^)

Well, I started it a day before, spent about 40 minutes on the tedious line art because I was sooooooooooooo determined to make a neater CG for once... typical me... I continue it the next day, get bored and rush it. It took around 2-3 hrs in total? So, it's semi-quickish XD

LOL i love the name its so fancy

and so beautiful i wanna cry ;_;
XD i see you're using a lot of photoshop, it really looks a lot neater than oc neee. (yay)
ooo especially good job on those ruffles

your lines look really clean to me! sometimes people (and moi) use a different colour than black for lining. and a really small pixel number thing (i forget what its called, gah, go me) like 0.5-0.6. so sometimes i use brown for like blonde hair/skin and such.. but not for black hair cuz thats looks really weird (im learning from mistakes!)

haha thanks a lot!!! :)

Actually this was done on OC! my only path to neatness at the moment is ZOOM! *worships zoom* I was always too lazy to zoom in and clean but once i tried it with some good advice from some artists--- I FOUND NEATIFICATION POWER!!! WAHAHAHAH *very happy*

Thanks so much for the tip! I'll definately try that out!!! *worship's Mirai's amazing cg skills* XD~~~~~~~

Pen pressure: If you have a tablet the pen pressure will act like any normal pen or pencil would. the harder you press, the darker the color or the bigger the brush, depending on which brush setting you have it set on.

I like it :D I think that if you added a bit more shading/highlight to the background and got rid of the lines, the background would look a lot better :D I'll be making a 'how to color anime style pictures' sometime in the near future, so if you're interested in that, keep an eye out for it :3
