So I got a message yesterday on my Pintrest board from someone complimenting my artwork and requesting an art trade. Always nice to hear and I thought I might go along with the trade since I have no big pieces underway at the moment. However, the level of persistence and atrocious grammar/spelling made me grow suspicious of this person. After a quick Google search, I have found that other people have been contacted by this person and some had done an art "trade." Apparently the person doesn't actually create any artwork for you and just steals the one you made. This person also posts other artwork that isn't theirs, claiming it is his/her own.
What to look out for:
Someone obsessed with How to Train Your Dragon
Abysmal spelling/grammar skills
The names: Minaj a-twah and Minaj A twah (confirmed on Pintrest), Minaj-a-twah and evil-yum-seductress (apparently both on Tumblr), Minaj_a_twah (confirmed on Twitter), Evil atwah (confirmed on Google+), and I also remember seeing evil-yum-atwah somewhere; basically look out for those or any combination of those.
