Well this is one of the cutest pictures I think I've ever commissioned. :aww: Drawn and coloured by the lovely :iconannadm: AnnaDM.

The three girls enjoying this sleepover party together are (l-r): Penny from Disney's "The Rescuers", Jenny Foxworth from Disney's "Oliver and Company", and Annie-Marie from Don Bluth movie "All Dogs Go To Heaven".

Because they're all little cutie-pies! :aww:

Two of them are orphans, but one comes from a rich family.

But Jenny still lives most of her time with her butler, as her parents are often working overseas for much of the time, so she kind-of has something in common with them.

Lol funny thing is Anne Marie and Jenny were based off of Penny. its nice seeing them hang out after going through their trauma's form their movies, Anne Marie having gone through the worst of it.

Well I knew that Jenny was based on Penny - to the point that Oliver and Company was originally supposed to have starred Penny, now happily adopted, but they felt that the storyline didn't work well with her character; so they tweaked the characterisation to a slightly older and different girl, and they redesigned her a bit too.

I didn't know that Anne-Marie was also based on Penny, but to be honest that does make a lot of sense. They're quite similar characters who are starting off in quite similar situations. Anne-Marie was absolutely adorable and I was so happy to see her get her happy ending in the movie.. Amazingly, I only watched it for the very first time just after Christmas (I got the DVD for a Christmas present), at the age of 36! xD

However, I then made the mistake of looking on IMDb to find out more about the little girl who voiced Anne-Marie, and whether she'd done any more acting work since....this picture is dedicated to the memory of her voice actress, Judith Barsi (1978-1988).

Yeah I know, poor thing didn't deserve that, well now her, Dom Deluise and Burt Reynolds are together again in Heaven ironically enough, also 36? XD well we gotta start somewhere, I seen the movies when I was a kid, and personally  All Dogs Go To Heaven 2 is my favorite, less depressing, has Sasha, David and Red and despite what people say I don't think David replaced Anne Marie, I kinda treat it like when Cody was added to the Rescuers with that David is just the Male Child counterpart of the series like Cody is to the Rescuers, besides they pair up Anne Marie and David all the time like Cody and Penny, and Sheena Easton is awesome as Sasha, didn't complain too much about Flo because she didn't stand out as much to me on the first one, some flirting here or there with Charlie but not completely romantic as you would expect, and Red, he's so awesome, I love his voice and transformations and singing, sure he made Carface become a bumbling sdekick but hey its a friggin cat demon, Charlie freaked out seeing the hellhound, I'd consider him  foolish not being a little scared of cat Satan. as for Jenny well.....I didn't know she was based off Penny until much later on in life, always thought she was her own character, never saw similarities between Penny and her besides their names rhyme, and they both love kitties (Oliver and Rufus had to wiki last one couldn't remember the name) and I think she's awesome for a character, not many little girls especially rich ones would willing go out by themselves on a shady dock to find a kitten and even offer a piggy bank to pay for a ransom, she's got a heart of gold, glad Oliver found a home there. sorry if I rambled, wasn't expecting you're reply to be large lol

That's okay, I wasn't expecting my reply to be that either lol. I do that sometimes. xD

Yeah 36 - amazingly, I thought I'd seen the movie (ADGTH) before when I was a kid, but after getting it for Xmas to relive childhood memories, I realised...actually, I hadn't. xD Somehow, I'd missed it completely up til now, even though I was 7 when it came out in the cinemas. (Though to be fair, it debuted the same day as Disney's massive comeback movie The Little Mermaid, and I do remember seeing that one...)

Such cuties, alright. These are some good, and nowadays overlooked films. Especially The Rescuers. :)

I completely agree. Although my own personal fave out of the three movies is Oliver and Company. :)

Yes, the way she's tightly hugging her cushion while completely enraptured by Jenny's story of how she and a group of dogs (and her kitty Oliver) faced off against the mob, is just very adorable!

There's simply not enough art of Annie-Marie!  I liked the movie, and the fact Annie-Marie went around a lot in her stocking feet.

Indeed! You know, cute as Anne-Marie is...I'm not sure if I ever saw the ADGTH movie. Maybe when I was a kid, but I honestly can't remember. Guess I need to put that on my Xmas wishlist. ;)

Also, the shoes she does wear are ballet flats, which I love because they can so easily come...off. :D
