Steampunk Icon Set in PNG format

This is my old steampunk icon set from 2012 and now that the rocketdock gallery is closing I thought I'd move it here. At the time of the Rocketdock gallery closing it had received 85480 downloads from this source alone.

This steampunk icon set will leave your Windows or Mac desktop looking absolutely spiffing. This zipfile contains a rather wonderful 130 icons, not just the 35 pictured above. Suitable for Windows/Linux/Mac OS/X. Download at the bottom of this page.

These are the large PNG files ONLY, good for Rocketdock or anything else you choose to mention. You can convert these to Windows or MAC icons but I've already done the work for you so if you want them in .ICO or .ICNS format look at my other downloads.

There is a whole set of the little thingies and I must say they do look very steampunk indeed! They really are a suitable replacement for the boring old default icons that come with Rocketdock.

Whether or not you are into Steampunk, regardless these will spruce up your desktop and give it a bit of Victorian class.

Compatible with MobyDock, ObjectDock, RK Launcher, and your default Windows icons.

Most of these icons are entirely my own work, and a very few are heavily modified images incorporating some bits from the British library icon set.

Installation: Download and unzip the icons. In the rocketdock folder there is a subfolder called icons. Move these icons into that folder or create a subfolder called steampunk icons and copy them in there. Then you simply change each of your individual icon images to any one of these. Easy enough.
