I had one just like this up before... But I liked the way this one looks :) Taken back in August 2004 when the Great Sand Dunes were only a National Monument. Today it is a National Park located in south Colorado.

:omg: This picture is gorgeous. From the silvery water to the silky dunes and on to the brilliant blue sky, you've caught the transition between elements in its prime. I wish there were a desktop-sized version of this. Great cap! :+fav:

Wow. This is absolutely amazing. It is wonderful how this picture almost seems to become abstract the longer you look at it, with its swirling colors and sinuous shapes. This si wonderful. A fav for sure.

This is a very nice photograph. What catches my eye is the range of contrasts between the different areas of water, sand and dirt. It must have been quite impressive in person :)
