The quality is amazing, but why put the fish through this stress? Betta live in large territories in the wild and need at least 5g to live a decent life.

Xanphur has a point but it's not entirely accurate: a betta fish ought to have at least one gallon to live in, otherwise they may try to leap out or they'll just be unhealthy. Of course, this may just be for the photo! Cool photo, by the way.

That glass is too small. I'd give the fish at least 10 gallons.

I love that you've even thought to put substrate in the glass! It gives the image a nice balance.

its a lovely picture, fantastic.

I hope you didn't keep the betta splenden in there for too long, they need a good 10 us gallons to be happy :)

I read your technique, its quite the experimental one, do you have any of the experimental shots? i'd love to see them

thanks

I work at petsmart and absolutely hate the stupid gimmicky bowls they make to lull people into buying animals, I am glad one of them finally went to good use! Nice photo!!
