Kyle Rayner is: A GREEN LANTERN

The Powerhouse of the League, son of a Mexican mother and a Vietnamese father, Kyle Rayner was adopted by Aaron Rayner and Alan Scott Jr., a gay couple who took Kyle in, raised him, and gave him lots of love. When Alan died, Aaron and Kyle had to get rid of their old junk in the basement, until Kyle found something unusual; a strange green ring that stuck to his finger and wouldn't come off. Everything was going well until Kyle began to manifest strange powers through the ring. That's when John Stewart came in, who was tasked with training and supervising Kyle, to see if he was worthy of joining the Green Lantern Corps, an intergalactic guild of adventurers and cosmic warriors who use the power of the Green Light of Willpower as the source of their incredible powers. When Kyle activates his Lantern Suit, his gentle, introverted, and reserved personality is replaced by a sarcastic, cocky one.
