Spooky Socks

My mother sent me some wonderful Knit Picks sock yarn for my birthday, this year. This is one of the colourways that she sent, called 'Spooky'. I had enough left after making this pair for myself to make a matching pair for *Saldemonium. =)

These socks were knit on size US2 Knit Picks circular needles, using Magic Loop and the Strong heel, 64 stitches around.

This is part of my 12 Months of Knitting project.

Those are so cute!  I love the colours, and I like that you didn't make them stripe entirely symmetrically heheh.

Thank you! =) The funniest part? You can see, looking at the cuffs, that one starts with orange, then white, and the other with purple, then yellow. I had enough yarn left over to make another pair, just ankle-height, for *Saldemonium, and by absolute blind chance, one of hers starts with orange and then white, and the other with purple and then yellow. =) =) So the socks in each pair don't match, but the two pair match each other.

(Yes, I'm easily amused. Hee.)

awww, that is adorable.  I have a thing for having matching clothes with special people in my life heheh.  and with that, it's like a statement, "I may not match myself, but I match with her!"
