Don Henley "The Boys of Summer"

PHOTOREALISTIC DRAWING
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DON!
22-7-1947
This is a collage inspired by the musicvideo for "The Boys of Summer" by Don Henley from 1984.
My favorite song of all time and the musicvideo is really beautiful.
"The Boys of summer" musicvideo: uploadstars.com/video/YX8AW27OOBS9

A lot of the details are shots from the musicvideo, except the cars, which is one cadillac with a DEADHEAD sticker and the plates says "Don Henley" & "Boys of Summer".
The beach is also something I added to the picture which blended well with the road and for fun I added the "Sunset Grill" which is a reference to another song in the same album "Building the perfect beast".

I'm not gonna lie, this drawing took me a looooong time to draw because I always saw something in the drawing I wanted to change.
Every time I thought that I was finished with the drawing, there was always something that didn't look right to me especially in Don's face.(which was done off camera in the drawing video)
Even the reference I made on my computer was changed many times before I was happy with the result.
But I wanted it to look exactly the way I pictured it, so it didn't matter to me how long it would take to make.

I made a video of this drawing too, but I didn't record all the changes since that would make video too long.
I spent a long time to create a fitting background music for the video too which was another process to.
But, like I said, I wanted everything to be the way I imagined it to be with the drawing and the recorded video of the process.
