Hello dear!

I hope you’re doing well! Forgive me for just writing out of the blue like this but I wanted to share some news with you that may be as interesting to you as it is THRILLING for me!

A manga I read over 20 years ago called Red River is FINALLY going to be adapted into an anime!

It’s a fantasy story that takes place in the ancient past and though it primarily deals with the Hittite empire there’s a lot of crossover with Ancient Egypt too! It was a HUGE inspiration for me back then and I hope it’s he the creative juices flowing now! Here’s some info if you’d like to take a peek!

Anyways I just thought I’d share if you were interested and if you hadn’t heard of it before. I wasn’t sure if you have or not, I am even want to do a piece to try to promote it. And if I’m insured again, it’ll DEFINITELY make me want to he back to my own works and hopefully my Yu-Gi-Oh fanfic!

I’m sorry I haven’t been around as much. Life has kept me busy. Especially with two little ones. But I hope over time I can create art more consistently. Thank you for looking and for your kind words.

Thanks so much dear! It’s always lovely to hear from you! And I appreciate the encouragement. I’m trying to slowly but surely get back to drawing and writing. With two kiddos it can be tough to find time, but I’m trying to make it work. I did a shaded version of this piece too, which should be my most recent post if you haven’t seen it. And if you can believe it, I’m still working on my story too. I may even go back and touch up earlier parts of it. Even if no one is interested in it anymore, it’s still something that means a lot to me. I see that you’re still creating lots of lovely pieces here on DA! I’m amazed how active you are! It’s awe inspiring! :) I hope you’re taking care and please keep in touch!
