It is winter season!!! And even thou in Houston, TX where I am currently live winter is something of an abstract term (today’s high 82F/+27C), I think this picture reflects winter as it should be.
Congratulations to everyone with coming holydays as well as past ones!
Let me know what do you think:)

That is absolutely an awesome picture. I've heard and some what experianced it to be difficult to take good, pictures in the snow because there is almost to much light. Do you have any suggestions for anyone? But that is one awesome shot. I love the way you can tell where the sun is and all the snow even with the shadows and its just beautiful. It makes me want to go tobogening. Or get drug aroung behind a truck in a field. It would have been a perfect day to be out and about in the snow. Or maybe perhaps a neiborhood snowball fight!! Ya that sounds like a lot of fun as well!!

Thank you Rachel, regarding the suggestions, you are absolutely correct about too much light, light reflects from snow so whenever you are taking the shot you will have to compensate for it, usually by increasing the f-stop, and most likely going higher on shutter speed.
