So despite the fact that I want to do more, life finds a way to uppercut me. Between pixel commission work (all animations btw), an upcoming job interview, a job that has mostly night shows going on, and two final exams crammed on the same day that I need to pass to graduate, I'm slowly losing my sanity.
Hopefully once August 16 (aka the Storm) passes, I can go back to doing more art, which is what I (and hopefully you, my Watchers) want too.
So here's a quick run-down of what I have in store:
- So you've seen two deviations under the title "Rendering from Imagination". This was all done as homework for an online course/mentorship by Paintable, "Illustration From Imagination". A 6-week long course that culminates in a fictitious, portfolio-ready movie poster, I will not be making any digital art until the course is done, so as to do a before/after. (For progress on it, here's a Tumblr link.
). However, once that's done, I'll def be going back to doing more of it, and that may cover art requests and fan-art! So if you like both, rejoice, for I will eventually have you covered.
- Capcom vs. Square Enix is on a hiatus because of what was mentioned. That and my need for money, which fan games don't really net you. Additionally, it won't get the CPS2 treatment that I wanted, because I'm only one spriter. However, when I do return to it, it will be using a completely original sprite style inspired by Kingdom Hearts: Chains of Memories and Card-Sagas Wars. Additionally, I plan for it to use a gameplay that will be the basis of an actual fighting game I hope to make.
- Pixel art! Lots of it, and that will also have the door open to requests. More on that will come later.
So yeah, lots of plans I hope to accomplish once whatever hectic schedule I have goes away (it'll mostly calm down once I complete my final two courses for my bachelor's degree). I hope this explains why I haven't done any useful shit in a while.
