Yeah, I just realized I can change my nick by upgrading to premium, and since one of you lovely folks bought one of my prints, I'll now have enough in my paypal to buy one month of premium to change my nick.
I'm going to start posting up some work that I did for the SCP wiki, and photography, but I'm also going to start clearing out my old work from 7 (!) years ago.
Man, times have changed, and how I regret the nick I chose.
I mean, seriously.
When the hell was /that/ cool?
Okay guys, I'm finally completing the account change. It's going to be a fresh start for me.
My old account ~XxSoulHunterxX (https://www.deviantart.com/xxsoulhunterxx) will be completely locked, submission wise, and all new posts and photos will be put at my new old account :icongx67: instead.
In other news, expect few but interesting updates from me. University and the engineering workload is kicking me ass.
So I had a few thoughts recently, and decided to write it down.
There's something most people don't realize about photography: it's remarkably close to music.
I'm sure your first reaction is that "Hey, they're completely unrelated!", but think about it. The main point of photography is, arguably, to convey some sort of emotion or imagery. A photographer's goal is somehow make a viewer feel something when viewing the picture. It could be anger, love, sadness...it runs the entire gamut of human emotions, and is music not aimed at such an ideal? Music conveys feeling through rhythm and beat, letting your own feelings soar and your heart pound.
