TRIGGER WARNING - EMOTIONAL INSTABILITY/RANT THING BELOW? PLEASE EXERCISE CAUTION.

i am writing this to let you all know i am definitely not dead.

also writing this to make excuses - talking to everyone and maintaining this account gives me major anxiety. don't wanna say the wrong things, offend people. takes me thirty minutes to respond to one comment because i'm overthinking my response. responding to notes is terrifying. people scare me. don't know who to trust, you know? can't see faces, don't know intentions. something that should be fun feels like work, something that should bring me joy horrifies me.

trying to explain why i don't respond to your heartfelt comments and notes is impossible.

i read things i received back in september 2017 - makes me feel like shit for not responding. never even saw them until now.

everything is just terrifying for me.

motivation is hard. getting up in the morning is hard. feeling generally lethargic, hate anything and everything that has to do with being an adult. dealing with general anxiety, panic disorder, isolation, binge eating disorder, severe chronic depression, touch aversion, self-harm, intrusive thoughts, PTSD, self-loathing, so much fucking hatred of myself. hate my body, hate my body, hate my body. hate my job but need money? health issues associated with my weight, gained too much at once, so many stretch marks and scars. pressure from parents, from siblings, from family, from friends, from support staff, from professors, from employers. hate my writing. hate myself. want someone to love me, treasure me, treat me like i mean something. literally this is why i write reader inserts. it's sad. i crave affection, i just want someone to need me. pathetic.

essentially, living is a chore.

but i don't want to give up yet? it's a strange feeling.

i wanna live, but my brain tells me not to? after around twenty years, you think i'd be used to this. you think i'd be done with this.

really don't have anyone to turn to.

just gonna keep writing. paint an ideal world in fiction, since it won't happen for me here.

love you all. love you all so much. thank you for supporting me. don't feel the need to comment or anything. i just needed to voice my thoughts, spit it out, attempt to tell you why i disappeared last year and didn't really come back until now.

can't express how much you mean to me. thank you. and sorry for this. it's confusing. think nothing of it.

andri-kki :iconandri-kki:'s Questions.

1.) Describe yourself like how you would describe a character you’re introducing.

As soon as you step into the coffee shop, you see her from the corner of your eye.

She sits there, behind the serving counter, a small white teacup filled with dark coffee placed in front of her—the blend is black, nothing special. Her figure is slim, rather malnourished, and her skin pale. Dark, curly hair tumbles in natural ringlets over her hunched shoulders, and her slender hands grip a book tightly, its spine resting on the wooden counter. Her eyes are cast downward, the skin beneath them dark and heavy with lack of sleep, scanning the pages at a rather fast pace. You’re unable to make out their colour from your distance, although there’s a sparkle there, something kind, but also something sad. The cover of the book is black, a single blooming rose in its center, glossy silver with specks of glowing blood dotting its immaculate leaves. The title reads Epeolatry in elegant cursive font, but the author’s name is hidden from your sight by her thin fingers. There’s nothing eye-catching about this girl (her clothes are fairly plain: a tight black shirt and a flannel top over it, unbuttoned, and the rest obscured by the counter), she’s a normal-looking college student, and yet you find yourself walking toward her slowly.

“Excuse me?” you ask softly, not wishing to startle her.

She glances up calmly, a gentle smile turning up the corners of her lips. “Yes?”

There’s a slight accent to her words; English? It’s faint, but there, although you aren’t sure which region of the country she’s from just by listening to her speak. You shake your head and concentrate on the young woman once more. You still aren’t sure what initially drew you to her, so you point quickly to the book in her hands. “Your book…what’s it about? I saw the cover…”

Her eyes dart to the thick novel in her hands. “Oh, this old thing?” She laughs quietly. “It’s a rather sad tale, to be honest. I believe it’s based around the philosophy that bad things happen to good people. Very blunt, this story…”

“Ah, I see.” You’re silent for a second, simply gazing at the book, before you raise your eyes to lock with hers once more. “Um…I didn’t mean to intrude,” you apologize suddenly. “I was just…something…” You trail off, unsure of how to continue.

She chuckles. “It’s all right. Not everyone takes notice of this work,” she says, sounding a bit melancholic, yet the smile does not fade from her face. “I suppose it’s simply because the notion it’s based around is unpopular.”

    “Is that so?”

She nods. “Mhm. But I think it’s fairly brilliant, to be honest. Although, I guess that’s a bit biased of me.” She suddenly shuts the book and sets it aside, but her hand continues to hide the front of it, shielding the cover from you. “What’s your name?” she asks abruptly, flashing you another grin.

You tell her, and she repeats it, nodding.

“Lovely name. Everyone has one, but yours is quite nice. I like it.” She reaches over to her cup and picks it up, taking a quick sip from it before setting it down upon its china plate and glancing at the clock. “Blimey, time passes fast. I hate to say this, but I have to head upstairs!”

“Upstairs?” you inquire, confused. “You live here?”

She smiles. “An old friend of mine owns the place. I work here to help him out, but I was on break just now.”

Your eyes widen at her words. “I didn’t mean to take up your time!”

“No, no, it’s fine!” She makes a dismissive gesture, easily waving you off. “I enjoyed talking with you, no matter how brief. People don’t find me very approachable, you see…” There it is, that sad glimmer in her eye once more. It accompanies the gentle gleam that’s already present, making her seem timid. She shakes her head. “Ah, well, it’s the present that matters! I appreciate you coming to talk with me,” she says kindly, extending her hand out to you.

You take it and give it a firm shake before withdrawing. Your eyes are once more pulled to the novel sitting on the counter beside her coffee. “Um…before you go, I have to ask…what would you say that book’s about, really? You said it was somewhat sad…”

The girl pauses in her haste to clear away her coffee and thinks for a moment before picking up the book slowly. Examining the cover for a long minute, she turns suddenly and pushes it into your hands. “It’s a tragedy,” she answers, turning her back on you and placing the porcelain teacup into the stainless steel sink behind the counter.

    “A…tragedy?”

“Yes. But it’s well worth the read, I assure you,” she replies, turning back around to face you as she bends over to retrieve something off the ground—a bag that she slings over her shoulder. She emerges from behind the counter and places a hand on the handle of the “Employees Only” door just beside it, beginning to twist it.

“H-Hey!” you call out to stop her, bringing the novel in your hands up. “You forgot this!”

“No.” She smiles again. “You should read it. I won’t take it back until you do.”

You frown, bringing the book back so it presses against your chest. “But…how will I return it to you?”

She laughs. “Oh, just bring it by this shop. I’m always here, hanging around. Don’t worry about it.”

“Can I at least…have your name so I know who to ask for, in case you aren’t here?” you ask, glancing down at the book.

The door behind her suddenly opens, and a young man pokes his head of mousy brown hair through. “Hey, Gr— oh, there you are!” His blue eyes fill with relief. “You’re needed upstairs.”

She nods. “Of course. But first—” Her eyes dart back to you, and she tells you her full name. “It was nice speaking with you.”

“Grace,” you repeat her first name, much like she had done with your own not minutes earlier. You hug the novel to you tightly and smile at her. “Thank you for lending me this book. I’ll return it to you soon!”

“Take your time. I’ve read it plenty of times,” she reassures you, something tugging at the corners of her mouth— a smirk?

“It must be good, then. Who is the author, anyway?” You bring the book out in front of you and scan the cover, eyes darting over the title, Epeolatry, and the silver rose and down to the bottom, where a name is printed in crimson. You read it once, then twice, then a third time, wondering if your eyes are deceiving you. The author is— “Grace?”

You look up in disbelief, but the girl and her male friend are gone.

Slowly, your eyes drop back down to the book in your hands, and you gaze at it in shock, then slowly flip open to the first page, taking in the words that have been typed so carefully—it’s a small footer, something that hints at what’s to come. You read it quietly aloud to yourself.

“‘The written word can accomplish such wondrous things. It can raise you higher than Heaven itself and show you the stars, or strike you down to Hell and devour you from the inside out. Words are dangerous, and those who wield them possess such terrifying power. The written word can drive even a perfectly sane mind mad. Epeolatry: the worship of words. Logophobia: the fear of words. We all have a nasty habit of practicing both.’ By SilveretteRose,” you whisper, eyes darting to the door Grace and her friend had vanished through.

    “Otherwise known as—”

2.) Is there any specific ritual you go through while/before/after you write?

I adore listening to music while I write.

3.) What’s your absolute favorite kind of fic to write?

Psychological horror. But I adore writing for all genres: fluff, angst, smut, drama, action, adventure, you name it.

4.) Are there any other fic writers you admire? If so, who and why?

Too many to name at the moment.

5.) How many words can you write if you sit down and concentrate intensely for an hour?

An average fic of mine is fourteen pages long on Google Docs.

6.) First fic/pairing you wrote for? (If no pairing, describe the plot.)

    Ryou Bakura/Yami Bakura.

7.) Inspiration, time, or motivation. Choose two.

Inspiration, motivation. There is never time.

8.) Why do you choose to write?

Because I want to convey what I see to the rest of you.

9.) Do you ever plan to write anything other than fics?

Of course. These original stories of mine stay mine, however. I’m afraid they’ll never be published.

10.) What inspires you the most?

    I wish I knew.

11.) Weirdest thing you’ve ever written or thought about writing?

I received an offer from a game developer company to write a script for one of their games, but it had to be specifically full of shameless ecchi (detailed fanservice/smut). I considered it for a while, but truly, the actual details of sexual acts make me somewhat uncomfortable when I attempt to write them. I have to be extremely brave if I attempt to write such scenes. Needless to say, I refused that offer despite its publicity benefits.

12.) A fic you wish you had written better, and why?

All of them. All of them. Because a writer's work is never perfect, and can always be improved.

13.) Favorite fic from another author?

    No.

14.) Your guilty writing pleasure?

Endless fluff with favourite characters. Give me some Arthur Kirkland or Sans (I KNOW HE'S A SKELETON, GODDAMMIT) any day.

15.) Why did you start writing?

Because I wanted, and still want, to convey what I see to the rest of you.

1.) I have just now realized I have over eight hundred watchers. Thank you so much:love:

2.) (Warning: triggering material) My summer holidays have finally calmed down, which basically means I finally have some free time to write. I must apologize, my loyal friends and watchers, for my lack of activity. I have been struggling with my depression, eating disorder, and anxiety as of late, but guess what? I've found a decent therapist! She's very sweet and provides me with perfect counseling and advice for my predicaments, as well as motivation to find some sort of coping method for these problems. We've spoken about my eating disorder, depression, anxiety and stress, and family situation, and I'm finally ready to speak about the years of abuse I have endured.

I have been a victim of my father's terrible temper ever since I was a toddler. Throughout the years, I have been subjected to both verbal and physical abuse (though it has never been sexual, to any who might worry otherwise). I have come away with mental and physical scars from this experience, ranging from extreme self-deprivation, medication overdose, vomiting, starvation, and suicide contemplation, to bloody noses and bruises (from my father), to burns from curling irons, broken bones, flayed skin, and slashes from kitchen knives (self-inflicted). Self-harm and self-deprication are both results from my chronic depression (which I've had since I was around four years old), and my anxiety has given me chronic migraines and forced me to turn to bad habits such as overeating, itching at my skin until it bleeds, tearing off fingernails, and pulling out small strands of hair to cope with stress.

My extremely low confidence results from my father's verbal insults, as well as my eating disorder, which I have finally been able to put a name to after speaking with my new therapist: BED, or 'Binge Eating Disorder,' a genetic eating disorder that results in uncontrollable compulsive eating. The symptoms matched up to what I had been experiencing before I found my therapist: frequent episodes of eating what others would consider an abnormally large amount of food, frequent feelings of being unable to control what or how much is being eaten, eating much more rapidly than usual, eating until uncomfortably full, eating large amounts of food even when not physically hungry, eating alone out of embarrassment at the quantity of food being eaten, and feelings of disgust, depression, or guilt after overeating. Some of the other tendencies of people with BED had reflected that of my own, too: fluctuations in weight, feelings of low self-esteem, and perfectionism.

These aforementioned problems are what have been keeping me from writing and continuing my previous series. However, all of these issues above are slowly being worked through with my new therapist, and I'm happy to announce that I'm well on my way to recovery, which leads me to my next point!

3.) My inspiration for Blood of Nations has returned!

Guess what, all you eager, anticipating fans? I have a ton of new chapters headed your way! Admittedly, I've made this promise before and not followed through, but this time, I can say it with confidence, because Hetalia has once more become one of my favourite fandoms. You'll be finding out what happened to Italy, Romano, Luciano, and Flavio! You'll learn of Prussia's whereabouts! You'll know why the Confederate States of America is trying to start a civil war! You'll be encountering Nonno Roma, Vati Germania, and your own personal guardian from your ancient days! You'll learn of the origins of personifications themselves, and the terrible secrets surrounding their immortality! You may even discover who's behind all of these awful attacks! All of this, paired with blood sacrifices and timeless magic, so much death and destruction and gore, along with second players and neko and chibi and nyo nations! In the midst of this, relationships and stolen kisses and the desire to have you all to themselves, a complicated mess of independence and old scars, betrayal and horror and an ice zombie invasion?! Bloody clues and a complicated riddle to solve while the world comes crashing down around you. Thousands of countries joining forces to protect the earth and all of them depending on one single nation: you.

Are you ready, my loyal reader? Get ready, because every single country you love is fucked.
The Ancients want you to discover the origins of the personifications, but the answer is locked away in an impossible puzzle.
There are ten nations singled out to die, and their blood will wake the primordial monster
Nonno Roma...has a brother?!

Are you excited? I SURE AS HELL AM!

(Re)Writing: Blood of Nations (1p! X Reader X 2p!Hetalia) Chapter 19. OMG MOAR POEMS!
Good Lord, I hardly noticed. I've been so preoccupied with my series that I've neglected to actually keep track of this, but—

HOT DAMN I'VE REACHED OVER SEVEN HUNDRED WATCHERS

FUCKING WHAT

You guys are the literal best! Goodness gracious, I was never expecting to get this far! I'm so happy that so many people enjoy what I have to offer! I'm so thrilled, and so honoured, and I feel so humbled, all at the same time! I honestly have never, never believed I would achieve more than a couple of friends and followers here on DeviantART, but you all have proved me wrong! Thank you so, so, so much for supporting me this long! Those that have been with me since 2014, and those who joined my garden in 2015, and those who are just now popping in this year, 2016, I owe you all a huge thank you! You're all such wonderful people, no matter how long you've been a watcher of mine! If you're a close friend of mine, someone who speaks with me on occasion, or a silent supporter of myself and my work, I love you all equally!

However, I would still like to thank all of my friends that have helped to provide me with comfort, love, and inspiration!

You have all been wonderful friends and I truly do appreciate everything you've done for me,

whether that's sending me kind and thoughtful notes, providing me with funny little comments

that cheer me up and make me laugh my throat hoarse, or inspiring me to achieve the greatness

that you have! You're all wonderful people!

But most of all, I want to thank the person who has stuck with me since day one; the deviant who has provided me with love, humour, comfort, and just the right amount of sass. You're funny, you're sweet, and you're kind, and I want you to know that I appreciate you so, so much. You've honestly turned my life around with your brilliant puns, marvelous and charming personality, and absolutely stunning writing! You're an inspiration to deviants everywhere, even if you don't always think so. You're gifted, so gifted, and I smile so much more when we talk. Ayato X Phoenix, Silver X Kaneki, Tokyo fools and Haikyuu!! nuts, fellow Hisoka trash, and whatever else. Thank you. Thank you so much.

ObscurePhoenix  :iconobscurephoenix:

I'd go on and on and on about how much you all mean to me, but I'm unfortunately crunched for time. Nevertheless, let me say one last thing.

I wouldn't be writing here today if it wasn't for all of you.

I owe my writing skills and inspiration and motivation and happiness to all of you! You brilliant, brilliant people, who understand that writing is just as important as drawing and painting and sketching (although not more important), and I appreciate that! I feel so free here, being able to share my passion with you all, and I hope that can continue.

THANK YOU!

Would you look at that? Today's my half-birthday! I won't tell you how old-and-a-half I am, but I can say it's definitely in the double digits and I can drive myself places. Infer from this what you will~

Besides this useless fact about me, I've been tagged! Yes, yes, another one, I know. You're probably cursing me because you wanted this to be a Blood of Nations update, but I am irresponsible and fairly susceptable to procrastination, hah. Please excuse my laziness and overall unpleasantness—I've been a bit preoccupied with college work lately.

BUT ANYWAY!

My wonderful friend tagged me the other day in a journal, so I figured I should be kind enough to complete the tag. I was admittedly a bit confused about whether or not I was to do all four or simply the tag I was mentioned under I'm a fucking liar I was actually just quite interested in all of the tags and snatched at the opportunity to do them all and ran with it because I love writing and shit and you probably don't care so I'm just gonna shut up now, so I did all four because it is better to be safe rather than sorry! A nice phrase to live by, in my opinion. But without further ado, I give you the tag! I'd actually read it if I were you, not to learn about me, but to read the questions. Some of them are rather interesting.

Tagged by the marvelous absolutelymonstrous :iconabsolutelymonstrous:

TAG #1

Rules: Must answer all 34 with no lying.

1.) Single?

No, actually. I have myself a rather sweet boyfriend (dunno how I managed to catch his attention, really).

2.) Crushing?

Don’t tell my significant other, but I have a thing for several nonexistent game/manga/anime boys Ken Kaneki Haise Sasaki Eren Jaeger Amon Koutarou Sans Arthur Kirkland Shuu Tsukiyama Death the Kid Asriel Flowey Yoshiki Kishinuma Levi Ackerman all Sakamaki Brothers Seto Kaiba Ayato Kirishima Papyrus Link Pit Sebastian Michaelis Ryou Bakura Garry David Hoover Suga Koutarou Yuuya Kizami Lelouch Lamperouge Hideyoshi Nagachika Mettaton Suzaku Kururugi Ciel Phantomhive Ten Eleven L Lawliet Feliciano and Lovino Vargas Kyoya Otori Satoshi Mochida Dipper Pines Bill Cipher Arima Kishou Tamaki Suoh.

3.) Favourite food?

Hn, well, I have a love for Italian, but certain Japanese dishes appeal to me as well. I like fish and chips, too, and my mother makes a delicious English breakfast - her tomatoes are fantastic.

4.) Favourite colour?

I have a love for a colour no human can see.

5.) Favourite music?

I have peculiar tastes in music. I prefer no set genre - my love flits from alternative to classical and back again. I enjoy listening to the soundtracks of different animes and shows, such as Undertale, Tokyo Ghoul, Black Butler, and Attack on Titan, as well as the music from Doctor Who. However, the majority of the music I listen to nowadays is my own. I haven’t set aside my guitar in a while, nor have I stopped playing the piano or violin. The holidays are a very nice time to relieve stress through the playing of instruments.

6.) Favourite band/artists?

I have a thing for foreign bands, but I like quite a few English ones, too. Babymetal is a strange little fascination of mine (their music videos are something), and IAMX has many songs with intriguing lyrics. Fall Out Boy, Three Days Grace, My Chemical Romance, Green Day, and Panic! At the Disco are all guilty pleasures of mine, too. I also enjoy listening to the songs from various artists that have their music as the opening/closing for different animes (such as TK [Tokyo Ghoul - Unravel], and Sid [Black Butler, Book of Circus - Enamel]).

7.) Talents?

I value my academic capabilities, as well as my love of the Arts. Reading, writing, drawing, playing varying instruments, singing, acting, dancing - they’re all things I enjoy doing, but I also adore exercise and sports involving my athleticism as well. Football (soccer), volleyball, basketball, swimming, tennis, and softball are a few I participate in. I’ve been told I’m rather sharp; sensing the emotions of others, and reading people very well. I also treasure my ability to see the good in every single person, but this does not equate to my sense of loyalty and trust. To gain my friendship, you must display to me a reason to value your existence.

8.) In love?

Somehow, a friend managed to shatter those walls around my heart long ago and saunter right in to make himself at home. To this day, I’m unsure of how he did it. I thank him everyday for it with a kiss.

9.) Hobbies?

As stated before, I enjoy the Arts as well as sports. I adore expanding my knowledge of the Universe - any little fact you may find useless and rather pointless will still interest me. I use my intellect to my advantage and push myself to excel; I read endless amounts of books, study different languages, take too many classes, aspire to be something more once I have achieved a goal. I believe it is there my fatal flaw lies - my thirst for knowledge renders me greedy, and I possess too much pride - viewing myself as more intelligent than those around me.

10.) Gamer?

Yes. I’ve played many different games of varying media - card games are fun, and chess is a strong suit of mine; I adore placing bets over who will emerge the victor. However, I enjoy games comprised of pixels as well; specifically those of the horror genre, such as Outlast, Amnesia, and the Half-Life mod, Afraid of Monsters. Even the games with less developed graphics such as White Face and Seven Days and Ib are fascinating to me. I enjoy the feeling of adrenaline coursing through my veins when being chased, or the fake thrill of a jumpscare, and the chills from a well-generated ambience that brings with it a creepy subtlety - the sensation that something is just not right, something off-kilter, so slight you don’t notice it until the horror itself emerges suddenly from the darkness and kills your character, taking your own heart with it.

11.) Swag/emo/scene?

Come again?

12.) Long/short hair?

Long and curly, and a pain in the arse, too. Have you ever tried to brush curly hair?

13.) Height?

172cm (that is 5’7”-ish for those who prefer non-metric terms). Taller than the majority of my friends, but shorter than my boyfriend, which is extremely frustrating. It has its perks, though. Sometimes, it’s nice to be the shorter one.

14.) Jacket/hoodie?

I’m indifferent, although admittedly if I wear hoodies, I will never wear the hood up.

15.) Eye colour?

It’s not brown, and they sparkle in the sun.

16.) Hair colour?

Rather dark, I’d say. I was never one of those gorgeous blonds.

17.) Shirt colour?

I’m actually wearing my boyfriend’s sweatshirt right now - it’s blue.

18.) Jeans or shorts?

Shorts. The only thing noteworthy about me is probably my legs.

19.) Get married?

Ever since I met him, I’ve become that girl that dreams of having a happy family.

20.) Have kids?

Definitely. Humans are all born with hearts of gold. Raise them right, and they’ll be just as kind as you.

21.) Get divorced?

Hopefully never.

22.) Ever or still do wet the bed?

I’ve never had that issue, no.

23.) Had or have depression?

I have it, yes. I’m fascinated by the actual workings of the condition, too, and the differences between male and female responses to it. Men tend to ignore it, women tend to dwell upon it. Men brood and blame others, women cry and blame themselves. The causings of it never fail to amuse me. A lack of hormones? A person’s mentality? Funny how something could impact me so horribly that I would cause myself to rot. Humans are pathetically fragile.

24.) Daydream?

Some of my fantasies lead to rather good story ideas.

25.) Thought of food?

Eh, well, I think about it almost constantly. I would say I’m a glutton, but I’ve starved myself too many times to count.

26.) Someone you love?

He’s purely fictional. And as for the other - he and I have yet to determine whether these sparks are more than the average crush.

27.) Someone you hate?

Honest to God, I hate myself.

28.) Dream job?

Research anything and everything. Explore possibilities and perceptions and actualities, uncover what makes a human tick (and in my mind, it is not the circulation of blood through the heart), stumble upon psychology at its finest. Write about abstract concepts, publish my own discoveries, discover more. Wend my way through the human mind, the stitchings of the Universe, combine my love of science and religion and English and show that all can work together - the how and the why, put into comprehensible terminology for someone else through the English I speak, but in my own language.

29.) Got tattoos?

I do not. But if I were to have one, it would be situated on my wrist or ankle - perhaps a rose? I’m infatuated with the plant, honestly, there’s a reason my username is this. Blooming an array of colours, and each hue has a meaning. Nature tells a story of its own; I wish we humans were worthy of knowing it.

30.) Piercings?

Double, in both earlobes. I never had the interest of advancing to the cartilage.

31.) Worst day of your life?

Perhaps the day I realized my own limits, yet still insisted upon triumphing them.

32.) Best day of your life?

From my experience so far, I have had no such day. I nurse a foolish desire to see us last to our wedding day.

33.) Biggest fear?

Agateophobia, the fear of insanity. Their eyes have been opened too wide, perhaps freed from the finite human mind? But, unable to handle that knowledge, they slipped and fell, because humanity was not worthy nor capable of possessing such power. I do not wish to be alienated by my fellows if they see me to be a bit “crooked” in the sense that I am not the same as they. From which springs autophobia, the fear of isolation. I do not wish to perish alone and unloved, and yet the presence of certain people make me feel threatened. Maybe I am mad - and therein lies the fear that I, myself, am not sane. And the vicious circle continues.

34.) Biggest insecurity that you know of?

My own skin.

TAG #2

One song: Unravel, by TK.
Two movies: God’s Not Dead, The 5th Wave.
Three shows: Tokyo Ghoul, Doctor Who, Gravity Falls.
Four people: Sister, brother, friend, lover.
Five foods: Onigiri, fish and chips, grilled chicken salad, spaghetti, pizza.

TAG #3

1.) Introduce yourself in all the languages that you know/are learning.

“Hello, love, my name is SilveretteRose, otherwise known as Grace.” (according to Steam, traditional)
“Wassup, dude, I’m Silver. But you can totally call me Grace ’cause we gonna be besties!” (according to Steam, simplified)
“Bonjour, amour, je m’appelle SilveretteRose, aussi connu sous le nom de Grace.” (somewhat literal…?)
“Ciao, amore, mi chiamo SilveretteRose, Grazia per gli amici!” (a bit rough, sorry)
“¡Hola, amor, me llamo SilveretteRose, pero usted puede llama mi Gracia!”
“Grace is ainm dom. Tá áthas orm buaileadh leat.” (I think this is singular)
“Hajimemashite, Grace desu. Dōzo yoroshiku onegaishimasu.” (I think this is right)
“Ich heiße Grace. Es freut mich Sie kennen zu lernen.” (my German is rusty)
“Olá, amor, meu nome é Gracia. Muito prazer.” (and then there’s this, hah)

2.) Tell me your top 5 fandoms!

1. Tokyo Ghoul
  2. Undertale

3. Attack on Titan

4. Corpse Party

5. Black Butler

6. Hetalia

(adding the sixth so my Hetalian fans don't freak out)

3.) What do you think your life would be like without fandoms?

I’m unsure. I’d probably spend much more time outside than on my laptop, but at the same time, I turn to these fictional works when I’m feeling down. The show/anime/manga/book will often cheer me up.

4.) Top three things on your bucket list?

1. Have a relationship that lasts until I have hair the colour of greying snow.
  2. Visit Japan. I’ve had enough of America and Europe; too boring.

3. I’d love to publish at least one of my original works.

5.) Where do you think your talents lie?

Definitely my voice and my overall musical ability, alongside my intelligence and athleticism. My writing could certainly use some work.

6.) What’s the most absurd dream you’ve ever had?

Hn, remember that one with America that I based an entire crack fic off of? The rainbow one, yeah? That was pretty strange, although it is by far not one of the weirdest dreams my subconscious has ever blessed me with. I’d rather not share those.

7.) If you could bring just one fictional character from any series to life, who would it be?

This is the question I dread. But I suppose I’d choose Ken Kaneki - his life is too much of a tragedy for me to bear.

8.) Tag your friends here, yay!

ObscurePhoenix, ZenyaChao, KHMewKairi, FrozenCrystalRose, GinjaNinja2D, LifelessQ, ZennazFFz, AlphaDragon02, Linksys3809Ississ-PerokAzaya-sama, onlysoperf891RedStringTied, BlueEccofan0-Dolunay-0Cinnamon-Badass, and TheSchemingTurtle (you don't have to do the tag if you don't want to. I just wanted to acknowledge you all as my friends and thank you for supporting me this entire time. I truly do appreciate it).

9.) Who do you look up to on dA?

ObscurePhoenix, Ississ-Perok, xYourHero, KHMewKairi, Miabia100, FrozenCrystalRose, another-reynie-day0-Dolunay-0, and KisstheRain272.

10.) What would you do if someone were to criticise your talents?

It depends upon the method they went about doing so, and if they had enough knowledge on the subject to make an accurate judgement. Flamers are never welcome, but I appreciate constructive criticism just as much as the next writer/singer/actor/artist/athlete.

11.) Describe yourself how you would describe a character you’re introducing.

Who is the author, anyway?” You bring the book out in front of you and scan the cover, eyes darting over the title,Epeolatry, and the silver rose and down to the bottom, where a name is printed in crimson.

12.) Is there any specific ritual you go through while/before/after your writing?

It’s funny you ask that. I drown my Writer’s Block in coffee and blast Guren No Yumiya and other epic songs, but when I have inspiration, I tend to sip tea (preferably Earl Grey or some sort of green tea) and listen to the soundtrack from whichever anime I’m currently writing for.

13.) What is your absolute favourite kind of fic to write?

Series with plenty of symbolism and memorable quotes, definitely. Oneshots are often spontaneous and I dislike the style my words adopt when I word vomit; the dialogue is particularly cringeworthy.

14.) Are there any other fic writers you admire? If so, who and why?

I have failed to find many talented writers besides my friends and writers that I have mentioned above that take the time to check over the quality of their work. How hard is it to spellcheck when the majority of programs nowadays do it for you? Is it really that difficult to discern the difference between “defiantly” and “definitely”? Or “quiet” and “quite”? It literally takes maybe three seconds to hit the backspace and make the correction.

15.) How many words can you write if you sit down and concentrate intensely for an hour?

An average oneshot/chapter of mine ranges from thirteen to sixteen pages on Google Docs. You do the math.

16.) First fic/pairing you wrote for? (If no pairing, describe the plot)

I began with Yu-Gi-Oh!, if you can imagine that. I enjoyed the ever-angsty pairing of Ryou Bakura X Yami Bakura, ugh.

17.) Inspiration, time, or motivation. Choose two.

Inspiration and motivation. There is never time.

18.) Why do you choose to write?

Because I want to convey what I see to the rest of you.

19.) Do you ever have plans to write anything other than fic?

Of course. These original stories of mine stay mine, however. I’m afraid they’ll never be published.

20.) What inspires you the most?

I wish I knew.

21.) Weirdest thing you’ve ever written/thought about writing/etc.?

I received an offer from a game developer company to write a script for one of their games, but it had to be specifically full of shameless ecchi (fanservice/smut). I considered it for a while, but truly, the actual details of sexual acts make me somewhat uncomfortable when I attempt to write them. Needless to say, I refused that offer despite its publicity benefits.

22.) A fic you wish you had written better, and why?

The very first Prussia X Reader I ever wrote. It was in honour of Gilbert after Himaruya released the strip that confirmed Gilbert’s loss of immortality - dubbing it canon that Gilbert could not heal after being bitten by one of the dogs.

23.) Favourite fic from another author?

A fantastic Attack on Titan Eren X Reader series, Broken Bird, written by Griiffn.

24.) Your favourite side pairings to put in?

Ehm, I don’t understand.

25. Your guilty writing pleasure?

An excess amount of fluff with different male characters that captured my affections (Ken Kaneki, Eren Jaeger, Sebastian Michaelis, Yoshiki Kishinuma, and Arthur Kirkland).

26.) Do you have structured ideas of how your story is supposed to go, or make it up as you write?

The majority of the time when I write for a series, I create a document for every bit of information I would ever need to write a series. This includes the genre, a list of the characters, a summary, general important info (details I may forget when writing that I need to check up on), as well as the entire plotline (literally what’s going to happen throughout the story). I will then go on to plot out each chapter using bullet points, writing out the important events of the chapter and key symbols and such. I will also include a section for possible future events I may want to incorporate (these are random ideas that just occur to me out of nowhere), and another section for plot points that must be referenced (tiny things I slip into chapters that will turn out to be the catalysts for bigger events in chapters that take place afterward). Then, once that is completed, I begin to flesh out each chapter until the entire series is completed. As for oneshots, well - those sort of just happen.

27.) Would you describe yourself as a fast writer?

My mind rushes ahead of my fingers, and yet I’m a fast typer.

28.) How old were you when you started writing?

I was fascinated by the English language when I was but a tiny little lass living across the Atlantic Ocean, back home.

29.) Why did you start writing?

Because I wanted, and still want, to convey what I see to the rest of you.

30.) Excepts from your work that you’re proud of?

“‘So please, Grisha….don’t let my family turn into what I fear it will. We must be more than the despicable monsters my bloodline has become. Give me the word that you will watch over them until the time calls for them to bear witness to Hell, and then….promise me then that you will find a way to get them where they need to be. Keep those lockets around their necks, their minds in ignorant bliss, and those smiles on their faces, right up until the moment life comes crashing down around them. Promise me, and then I can die happily.’” (Life Worth Living)

There are no accommodations for the fragile. But as you tilt your head back to stare at the fake glowing stars of the Underground of Mitras and listen to the song of sorrow once more, you can’t help but wish there was.” (Life Worth Living)

“‘Do you realize….where we are? This place….is our….my…. This is my hometown. This place is the one you destroyed. This is the place….where my mother….she was devoured because of your actions. I don’t think you understand me, Reiner. I’m not going to just kill you. I’m going to pound your Titan into the ground until it’s nothing more than a mess of flesh and blood, where you can’t discern your Titan apart from your human form. I’m going to grind your bones into dust and ensure that you feel the utmost agony as I do so. I’m going to kill you, I’m going to kill you, I’m going to kill you, I’m going to murder you. Shiganshina was my home, and I’m going to slaughter you in cold blood like you slaughtered my people. GET OUT OF MY CITY, REINER! TAKE YOUR GODDAMN TITANS AND FUCKING G E T  O U T!’” (Life Worth Living)

“She sighed. ‘He’s impulsive. A temperamental, merciless, hotheaded, dense, reckless, idiotic, suicidal bastard that has an unhealthy penchant for Titan-killing. But he’s powerful, intelligent, courageous, persistent, and loyal as well, and that’s what makes him such a good hunter. Yes, that’s the perfect word for him— a hunter.’ She smiled, as though she made a clever joke.

‘Why are you smiling like that? Did I miss something?’ Marlo furrowed his eyebrows.

‘Oh no, you didn’t miss anything,’ she answered with a chuckle.” (Life Worth Living)

“Words can drive a mind mad — and that’s exactly what they’ve done to both of you.” (Epeolatry)

“Meanwhile, the crimson and golden leaves danced, the trees swayed with the wind, and Ken Kaneki flipped to the next page of his book.” (Epeolatry)

“The Shifter suddenly straightened up and twisted toward him, something red and glowing and writhing blossoming around her like a gruesome flower: her kagune. That giggle, that beautiful yet horrifying chuckle, emerged from her lips as she once more threw her head back and roared with laughter. The predatory weapon thrashed about uncontrollably, and the ghoul tilted her head to the side again as she continued to snicker. ‘Tell me, Amon Koutarou—’ Her laughter ceased instantly, and her voice grew soft. ‘why is it that ghouls have more humanity than humanity itself?’” (Epeolatry)

He smelt of Earl Grey tea and secretive, dusty, mystical spellbooks. Surrounded by the unmistakable scent of musty, century-old, unpredictable magic and strange, hazardous, bubbling potions that never seemed to perform the act they were brewed for. The fragrance of his national flower, the gorgeous Tudor rose, along with the marigolds he liked to grow in his enchanting garden. The calming smell of the foaming sea and its salty, tangy air; the familiar trace of alcohol, rum and ale, here and there. Scones and treacle tarts and custards and trifles; desserts of all kinds he could never prepare himself mixed with the ever-present delicious aromas of the teas he admired so. A tiny whiff of cigarette smoke, along with a fresh, cool breeze of London air, saturated with routine rain.” (I Have Seen the Unspeakable)

“When you looked him in the eye and gave him permission, and you began the last minutes of your life, in your final moments you couldn’t help but think, what an appealing death it was.” (Mortem Appellationis)

“The girl begins to paint a picture for the men in the tavern, her words shifting to become colourful and full of magic. She tells it so whimsically and beautifully that it feels as though the men are really there, that they’ve entered the Golden Age of the Pirates and are witnessing one of the biggest battles between the forces of the sea ever. The girl’s words swirl about them, weaving a tale so adventurous and thrilling and magical and breathtaking, it couldn’t have been anything more than a merely that—a tale.” (Jewel of the Seven Seas)

“‘There’s no such thing as a fearless human,’ he says suddenly, his golden gaze boring into your own (e/c) one. ‘Even though you all deny it, you know it’s true. In all my years….I’ve never met a human without fear. And do you know why?’ He snickers malevolently, tracing his left hand up your arm, along your shoulder, and behind your neck, tangling his fingers into your (h/c) locks. ‘It’s because humanity is nothing more than a race of feeble, trembling children. Compared to the rest of the universe, (Name)….you’re naïve, susceptible to even the weakest of demons. The tiniest breeze can knock you down. You are the lowest species. And your subconscious knows it, too. You are playthings.’” (Dancing With the Devil)

“The Doctor had a funny habit of showing up exactly in the nick of time, right when he was so urgently needed. And you meant exactly right before. He somehow made it a tendency to cut it very close and give you a heart attack. He never managed to get there when the bomb wasn’t about to go off, or when the aliens weren’t about to fire on Earth, but he always arrived just in time to stop it. You didn’t know how he managed it, or why he claimed he was completely in control of this little habit when he so obviously wasn’t, but you decided it wasn’t important. So long as he got to the place he was needed, you could care less. Especially when he came to running to you, because both you and the Doctor knew that it was there he was needed most.” (Time’s Golden Curse)

“‘This is certainly going to prove troublesome, and I am in no mood for games.’” (Agateophobia)

TAG #4

Use one or more of your OCs, maybe even add yourself if you please to take this interview test (more or less people can be added or changed).

1.) Give us your full names, if you don’t mind?

Silver: “Grace [unavailable], but you can call me SilveretteRose.”
Akari: “Akari Kiyoshi Akiyama, but you can call me CrimsonetteLily.”
Silver: “Ignore him, he’s being an asshole.”
Akari: “Okay, sorry, I didn’t mean it! Please don’t be angry!”

2.) All right. Let’s start with the questions, shall we?
A. How old are you both?

Akari: “Eighteen. But my age can vary depending on the fic she’s writing, too. It jumps around, whether she needs me to be a college student or a little kid to correspond with the plot.”
Silver: “Personally, I enjoy it when Akari’s older. He’s smart enough by that point to know when to keep his mouth shut.”
  Akari: “Wow, rude.”

B. Do you guys want a hug?

Akari: “I enjoy hugs from close friends. Maybe we should talk a bit more?”
Silver: “Akari’s more accepting than I am. I don’t like to be touched, honestly, unless I initiate it.”

C. Have any bad habits?

Akari: “I put others’ needs before my own, even if it’s dangerous. I trust people when lives are on the line.”
Silver: “Akari is a pretty selfless guy, whereas I endanger others with my pride and lack trust in others.”

D. Either of you a virgin?

Akari: “E-Eh, well um—” [coughs awkwardly] “—I’d rather not say.”
Silver: “Akari’s a prude, much like myself. We have a rule about ‘no sex before marriage.’”

E. Have any kids?

Akari: “No. But I’d like some when I get married!”
Silver: “Here’s hoping for him, I guess.”

F. Favourite food or drink?

Silver: “I personally know for a fact Akari enjoys the bentos I make for him, especially the onigiri shaped into bunnies.”
Akari: “You weren’t supposed to tell them about that!”

G. Killed anyone?

Akari: “I’ve done so to protect those I love, yes.”
Silver: “Akari is extremely loyal to his loved ones. He’d kill for them.”

H. What is your idea of a date?

Akari: “I enjoy the quiet and the calm. Anywhere that fulfills those requirements is the place for me!”
Silver: “Akari and I share similar tastes when it comes to outing places. The library is one of our favourites.”

I. Any artistic talents?

Akari: “I can paint okay, I guess. But Grace can write!”
Silver: “Shut up, I can write decently. But Akari’s an extremely talented artist and musician. He adores painting, and he’s a regular prodigy when it comes to the piano.”

J. Love anyone?

Akari: “Grace is pretty cool, but she kind of created me, so I guess that’s a given.”
Silver: “In my fics, Akari is often paired with the Reader, and it ranges from as a brother to a romantic interest.”

K. What is your job?

Akari: “Varies. Sometimes my occupation is a student, and others it’s me being a quiet, sexy librarian. Grace is unpredictable.”
Silver: “Akari is very artsy, so chances are you’ll find him working as an English teacher, or in a library, yes. Whereas I am a young fledgling in college, looking at an English major, and perhaps psychology.”

L. Favourite season and least favourite season?

Akari: “Fall happens to be my favourite. I adore the colours of the leaves, and Halloween is pretty great. I love horror. As for least favourite...I’d say summer. Too hot for my taste.”
Silver: “Akari enjoys the scary aspect of Halloween. I’m a fan of the holiday myself, but winter is my favourite season. I enjoy the snow and hot chocolate, and Christmas and Winter Break are two very good things. And summer is also my least favourite season. I dislike the heat.”

M. Who’s your best friend?

Akari: “If it’s not Grace, will I get in trouble?”
Silver: “Akari is close friends with many girls, as he’s attractive, but the airhead doesn’t realize it. He also makes many guy friends through his love of sports. He enjoys the Arts, but football (soccer), basketball, and swimming happen to be sports he enjoys as well.”

N. Hobbies?

Silver: “I enjoy anything that has to do with the Arts, similar to Akari.”
Akari: “Hanging out with Grace is pretty fun. I also like playing the piano, and savouring the outdoors. When I was a kid, I used to go exploring in the woods behind my house. I liked to think there was magic somewhere.”

O. What are you going to do when this tag is over?

Silver: “Write.”
Akari: “Maybe snack on some pretzels and watch her write. S’all she does, really.”

P. What is your eye color?

Silver: “My eyes aren’t brown.”
Akari: “My eyes are the blue colour that the sky makes right before the sun sets...sort of cobalt.”

Q. Are you good? Or bad?

Akari: “It depends on your own views, really. I’ve killed, but I’ve also saved lives.”
Silver: “I have much more to do before I could ever see myself as ‘good.’”

R. If you could get anything right now what would it be?

Akari: “My mother back.”
  Silver: “[unavailable].”

T. Does your name have a special meaning?

Silver: “I have an infatuation with roses. But my birth name is ‘the grace of God.’ It’s associated with my religion.”
Akari: “Akari is typically a female name. However, I was given this name because my mother saw it fit. There are other names in Japanese that mean ‘light’ admittedly, but Mum has always been fond of this one.”

V. Any siblings?

Silver: “Yes.”
Akari: “I’m the oldest. After me, it goes Hikari, then Ren, then Yumi Akiyama.”

W. Where do you live?

Silver: “[unavailable].”
Akari: “Tokyo was my birthplace, but I follow Grace wherever she goes.”

X. Do you find yourself attractive?

Akari: “I like my hair. It’s the colour of chocolate.”
Silver: “No. But Akari’s pretty damn hot - maybe even sexy.”
  Akari: “Wha—?!”

Y. Was this fun?

Akari: “Sure!”
  Silver: “I’m indifferent.”

Z. Any last words?

Akari: “The colours of my roses are white and blue—”
Silver: “—And my own flowers are red and black.”
Akari: “Remember that. Colours have lots of meanings, and numbers too—”
Silver: “—And I include a lot of symbolism in my fics. It might do you some good to research.”

And that’s the end of the tags! Apologies that it was so long, but kudos to you if you made it to the end!

Hello, my garden (I've grown fond of this name for you all, sorry if you hate it)! I'm writing this all to let you know just what on earth is going on in my life right now, how my series are going, and also because I totally forgot about a tag I was mentioned in. Someone asked me to do a tag, but I must've accidentally deleted the mention when I was going through my notifications, so I don't know who it was! I came across a little note on my laptop reminding me to do it, but I failed to put down the username of the deviant who tagged me in the first place, so I don't know who tagged me! I'm sorry! If it was you, one of my lovely watchers, please forgive me and tell me in the comments! I'm so forgetful ;-;

Anyway, onto the first order of business: life update! I'm still on break, you'll be happy to know, so I've been writing like crazy these last couple days! I have some freetime and some time off work, thank goodness (thank you, merciful boss), so I've been chugging coffee and tea and sitting at my counter, typing like crazy! I have to admit, what I've been mainly focusing on is my Tokyo Ghoul X Reader, Epeolatry, and my Attack on Titan X Reader, Life Worth Living, and my Corpse Party X Reader, Heavenly Hell. Hetalia has been at the back of my mind, unfortunately. But I've recently been inspired, and I was proofing Chapter 23 of Blood of Nations to search for any grammatical errors/ plotholes/whatever. I'm been writing out chapters ahead of time in hopes I could reward my Hetalian watchers with a rather large update to the series.

As of now, in my current projects, I have this much completed (and keep in mind, this is literally all I've been working on, so some of these aren't uploaded and you won't have heard of them, so get excited!). The prologue/chapter numbers listed beside the fics are the chapters I have completed as of today.

Epeolatry (Tokyo Ghoul X Reader) - Prologue, Chapters 1-11. [Part of a Planned 3 Story Series]

(WARNING: Language, violence[blood/gore], sexual content, ideologically-sensitive material[abuse/rape/torture], possible character death)

Gold and crimson trees line the street across from Anteiku. Every year they lose their leaves, withering to black as the cold slips into their branches, stripping the life from their leaves and tossing them to the ground, worthless—a parallel to the hell you live in. People so full of life in the beginning, only to rot from the inside out as reality slowly creeps into their minds, their souls, their very core, poisoning them with its impossible standards of a perfect world that can’t exist. Sustenance comes in the form of two completely opposite substances: for humanity, it’s grains, fruits and vegetables, beef and pork and chicken for the stomach, and water for the throat. While for ghouls, the only way to sate their agonizing hunger is to consume the flesh of a human, and drink blood of the same likeness to quench the burning in their esophagus. Starvation is utter hell for a ghoul, and with no choice but to slaughter in order to survive, the two species, identical in most aspects except for their internal anatomy, constantly battle for control over the entire earth. Both with intelligence, emotions, families and relationships and hearts, forced to clash and struggle because neither comprehend and accept that the other is humane. Innocent ghouls are murdered in cold-blood by the human CCG, while faultless humans are devoured by ravenous ghouls.

When only two sole beings, Kaneki Ken and (Surname) (Name), can see the wrong within this existence, how can change possibly come to pass?

(Kaneki Ken X Ghoul!Reader X Hideyoshi/Amon/Arima/Ayato/Tsukiyama/Jason/Hinami/Touka/Rize/Eto, ect.) [possible Yuri pairings with Reader]

Life Worth Living (Attack on Titan X Reader) - Prologue, Chapters 1-19. [Part of a Possible 2 Story Series]

(WARNING: Language, violence[blood/gore], sexual content, ideologically-sensitive material[rape/abuse], character death)

For five long years, you lived in the Underground (the emergency cities originally built within the catacombs beneath the Kingdom of Humanity for citizens to flee to in the extremely unlikely case the Titans managed to break through the three fifty-meter-tall Walls of Maria, Rose, and Sina) with your family of six orphans: Michael Aaltonen, Julchen and Jaden Pikale, Clemens and Ellie Inocencio, and Anmut Munsell. The seven of you, a bunch of street dwellers, thieves, slaves, and servants, stumbled across each other in the Rosic District of Trost and you, seeing their horrible lives on the surface, convinced the six to come with you and run, fleeing to the Underground and heading for the location farthest from Trost: the undercity of Mitras, Sina, the capital of Humanity’s Kingdom. Together with those orphans, you built yourselves a life beneath the Kingdom and were happy— and then things went horribly wrong. A trip to the Upperworld, presented to them as a gift, allowing them to see the sun for the first time in five years. Visiting a friend, getting clothes to blend in, roaming the streets and showing your adoptive family what the surface was like. And then— they were captured, all of them. Your partner, Michael, defending them all to his last breath— a gun, a bullet, piercing flesh— dragged away, into a cart— you, fleeing, sprinting, returning to your friend, crying in her arms, begging her to help them— sobbing when you’re told there’s no way for you to save them— rage, fury, the thirst for revenge overwhelming you—

That’s how you remember your past.

But your memories are jumbled, pieces missing, others foggy, and some completely gone. There’s only one memory that’s crystal-clear, and that’s the murder of your family. Your mother first, slaughtered by men in black cloaks, and your father following soon after, cut down by people sporting winged horses on their chests. Your brother caught in the crossfire, releasing your hand, disappearing into the haze of red and black as your house is consumed by roaring flames. You know nothing about where you hail from, how you ended up in Trost, or your family’s background, really—you assume your parents were criminals and deserved to die—but you care little for that. The only thing that matters to you now is the burning sense of hatred in your chest for those who killed your brother and those who stole your orphans from you. With nothing left to keep you in the Underground (your orphans captured by the Military Police), you look for a way to save your adoptive family, flee from the Military Police, and hunt for your family’s killers, fully aware that they’re searching for you as well. But you do so in a way that none of your pursuers could have ever suspected: you join the Military.

Blood of Nations (1p! X Reader X 2p!Hetalia) - Prologue, Chapters 1-23. [Part of a Possible 2 Story Series]

(WARNING: Violence[blood/gore], language, ideologically-sensitive material[war/rape], sexual content, possible character death)

Hell begins in Italy. Repubblica d'Italia has been at war for days now, and all communication to and from the nation has been cut off. Unable to summon help, Italy and Romano are forced to fend for themselves. Things take a turn for the worst, however, when a dangerous enemy arrives at the Vargas Mansion and attacks. When the Italy Brothers suddenly go missing, their absence is noted at the World Conference several days later. It's up to you, (Name) (Surname), but better known as the country of Gloriana, to hunt them down and take down whatever mysterious, malevolent force is at work. You team up with the Axis, Allies, Nordics, and many other countries, along with the Second Players as another World War threatens to wage. As blood soaks Terra's soil and violence reigns king, will you manage to find the Italy Brothers and stop this unknown enemy? Or will you fail to end the discord and destruction and allow the entire world to fall into death and chaos, ruled by a single, bloodthirsty Ancient?

Jewel of the Seven Seas (Pirate!Hetalia X Reader)
 - Prologue, Chapters 1-13. [Single Story]

(WARNING: Language, violence[blood/gore], ideologically-sensitive material[abuse/attempted rape], sexual content)

You crave a life of adventure and glory, is that so bad? All you wanted was a taste of freedom—being locked up in a heavily-guarded home with your abusive father was not your ideal vision of a life you wanted to live. You're in 17th century London, during
the Golden Age of the Pirates, no less, and yet your father claims girls should learn how to sew and cook. The answer to your problems is obvious in your eyes, and really your only choice: you have to run away.
And you do, fleeing from your home of nineteen years and taking off to who-knows-where. While on the run from your father’s guards, you end up in a lovely old pub by the name of Abner’s Seaside Inn, right next to London’s docks. As you grab a drink and attempt to blend in with the crowd, a shout echoes from right outside the windows: “There’s a pirate ship in the bay! Pirates are coming!” And your life goes to Hell from there once you meet an arrogant, egotistical young pirate captain that seriously needs a powerful smack upside the head.

Of course, Arthur didn’t know what he was getting into when he forced you aboard his ship. He thought he was just grabbing a wealthy young prostitute to swindle people out of their gold with, not a defiant, foul-mouthed girl (who happened to be a virgin, not a prostitute) with a fiery attitude and a nasty habit of biting back—literally. He wanted to make a profit off you, not find himself being hunted down by hundreds of members of the bloody Royal Navy while simultaneously avoiding the irritating captains of five different sodding ships and fighting against the entire bleeding ocean and its inhabitants. And this entire misunderstanding interferes with his plans of finding the only key to breaking his curse. Bloody brilliant.

(Pirate!England X Reader X Pirate!Various[Spain, France, Prussia, Nordics, ect.])

Heavenly Hell (Corpse Party X Reader) -  Prologue, Chapters 1-39. [Part of a Planned 5 Story Series]

(WARNING: Language, intense violence[blood/gore], sexual content, ideologically-sensitive material[abuse/rape])

You're at Kisaragi Academy with seven of your friends, Ms. Yui, Yuka Mochida, and your twin brother Akari (Surname) when Ayumi Shinozaki insists you perform the "Sachiko Ever After Charm." You feel uneasy at first, but once peer-pressured by the rest of your friends into participating, you agree—and it's the worst mistake of your life. An earthquake ensues soon after, and you find yourself plunging through the floor into the darkness below. Upon waking, you discover that you're in some sort of a classroom....and once you explore a bit more, you come to one terrifying conclusion: you're in Heavenly Host Elementary. You encounter countless horrors and dangers as you desperately try to find a way out of this murderfest and escape with your friends....but is there really a way out?

(Various Kisaragi/Byakudan/Paulownia/Musashigawa/St. Cruz Students X Reader) [possible OC/Yuri pairings with Reader] {OC = Akari, Hikari, Ren, and Yumi Akiyama}

Entanglement in Thorns (Ib RPG X Reader) - No Prologue, Chapters 1-10. [Single Story]

(WARNING: Language, violence/blood and gore)

You, (Name) (Surname), decide to pay a visit to the old art museum, where the newest Guertena Exhibit has been
put on display for all to see in honour of the man's passing, something you've been anticipating for months in advance. It's your nineteenth birthday as well, so you figure you might as well treat yourself to something. Entering the museum, you encounter a foreign family whose daughter is named Ib. Thinking none of it, you sign in and quickly enter the exhibit itself, smiling as the peaceful atmosphere of the place soothes you. As you explore the walls covered in paintings, you lose track of time and later discover that, upon coming across another painting named Fabricated World, the music has gone silent and all traces of life have vanished. Frightened, you roam the gallery, searching for a way out, only to find that there is none. As you frantically search for a way to escape, messages are left to you by an unknown entity, coaxing you to "Play with them." Eventually, as paranoia sets in, you agree and, jumping into a painting called Abyss of the Deep
your horrifying journey begins.

(Garry X Reader/Mary X Reader/Ib X Sisterly!Reader)

When I say possible OC/Yuri pairings with the Reader, this does not mean that the OCs/girls listed in the (Character X Reader) paranthesis will be paired romantically with the Reader. For example, in the Tokyo Ghoul fic, Hinami does not fall in love with Reader; they have a sisterly relationship, solely platonic.

Typically, my fics, when part of a mutiple-story series, will correspond with story arcs in the manga/anime, so once more, for example, in the Tokyo Ghoul fic, Epeolatry will follow the events of the manga all the way up to Root A (√A), then the next story will continue from there, and so on. The same applies to Corpse Party, but with the games instead of arcs. Attack on Titan is a bit trickier, because I don't have an exact end point for the first story, so I have possible written beside it because I'm still debating. Blood of Nations is something I'm on the fence about. I dunno if I want a sequel or not, but something tells me once you all see the conclusion, you're going to want more. Planned just means I know I'm going to split the storyline between separate fics. Also, please note I tend to mix manga and anime events, so I won't stick to just one or the other. But there you go! Those are my current projects.

Now, onto that tag (you can skip this and scroll to the bottom if you want)!

All right, enough of that. I was just popping in to tell you all that I need someone to obsess over the manga with me, because I died inside because they left it off at such a goddamn cliffhanger. Also, Tokyo Ghoul is my addiction.

Thank you, and good day/night.

Wow.

I'm literally dying. I'm dying slowly. I need more of this. I need more of this. Why aren't there more episodes? Why isn't the new chapter of the manga out yet? Why has this show grabbed hold of me in a viselike grip and dragged me down under fuck? This show and Attack on Titan have literally screwed me over. I have lost my ability to even.

Eren Jaeger
Ken Kaneki
Haise Sasaki

FUCKING OBSESSED

You know that depressed feeling you get when the world ends and Hell swallows you up because you finished a really fucking good anime/manga and YOU DON'T FUCKING KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR LIFE ANYMORE?! That's me. Right now. I'm crying. I need new episodes. I need new chapters. I'm going to fucking die. Literally writing this as I jam to Tokyo Ghoul's first opening song I NEED HELP. Guys, I need help. SOMEONE WRITE A MILLION-CHAPTER-LONG TOKYO GHOUL X READER FIC BEFORE I DIE OF NEEDINESS.

I have legitimately never been so obsessed with a character/anime before in my life. Fucking Kaneki wins. I don't know why, but I find the finger cracking he does to be really hot. And when he goes insane and literally badasses Jason into submission and totally crushes that fucker in a fight after he's been tortured for so long, I can't stop watching that scene. I literally cannot stop.

HELP OH MY GOD

WHOA HO I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE

I have 599 watchers, y'all.

Literally dying right now of croaks and squeaks and other inconceivable noises of happiness, guys. I'm so freakin' happy that I've nearly made it to 600 watchers! This is brilliant! I don't feel like I deserve it, honestly. I've been so inactive lately, but with all this work I've got goin' on in the boring life I lead off the internet, I justify my hiatus. I never knew balancing my job with my schoolwork with my social events and other junk would take away so much from my leisure writing time ;-;

On the bright side, my flatmate does the laundry as long as I cook her something. Sometimes, when I make tea, she cracks jokes about the Boston Tea Party (jokes that she found on Tumblr) and I have to refrain myself from smacking her. And sometimes, when my boyfriend comes over, the two of them both have a go at me and my origins. BUT I FORGIVE MY ROOMIE BUT NOT MY BOYFRIEND HE GETS THROWN UNDER THE BUS BECAUSE SHE LIKES EARL GREY AND SO DO I AND I'VE NEVER HAD A LEGITIMATE FRIEND WHO ACTUALLY ENJOYS THAT TEA YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW BLOODY MUCH THIS MEANS TO ME

Ahem, anyway. I make no promises that my activity will increase, everyone, but I can promise that I will update everything eventually. I have a few days off for Thanksgiving in a couple weeks, so that should help me get my life back on track and whip up a fic or two. BUT NO PROMISES. It should, but it might not, because I'm unreliable due to who I am as a person, hah. Sad but true, my lovelies, but for those who've stuck with me for a year, you're all well aware of that.

AND NOW I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT (one that may be potentially depressing for you Hetalians)

I have always had a love for many other animes besides Hetalia, but now those other animes are taking over my life thanks to a certain someone who keeps suggesting for me to watch them and then I do and then I eND UP GETTING OBSESSED FUCK—! And now I have a current passion for writing for animes/mangas other than just Hetalia. My muse for that particular show has flitted away for now, but I am by no means over that show yet. Arthur Kirkland and Alfred Jones and all the others still have a firm grip on my heart. BUT NOW— BUT NOW— BUT NOW—

I have an unhealthy urge to write for other fandoms. I'm gonna list every single fandom I'm part of right now below, ranging from what has totally taken over my life to what I simply have a love/fondness for (animes, books, video games, you name it).

I've gone ahead and started to write another series FUCK

It was gonna happen eventually; I just sped up the process. I'm literally listening to Guren no Yumiya right now. I have an unhealthy obsession with Eren Jaeger and Levi Ackerman, everyone. But the main reason why I'm writing this here today is to ask if you all want to read a little excerpt from my Attack on Titan X Reader story that I've begun; a preview, if you will. Would you be onboard or not?

If so, please leave a comment to tell me I should. Otherwise, I won't upload it.

Ah, my friends, it's been two weeks since I directly engaged all of you. My apologies, but my family has been quite overjoyed that I visited! You know how it goes—emotional reunions, English tears of joy, an overwhelming sense of nostalgia, and me laughing so hard I cried when my grandmum told me (in a stern, serious tone, mind you) that my Britishness was fading; apparently I'm losing my accent, as well as my taste for good tea. My grandfather was the first to tease me—he reminded me to keep my pinkie up while sipping from my teacup, even when I return to America.

Anyway—I've been tagged! And it's this Wedding Meme I've seen going around. And I was tagged by none other than the lovely:

The Ring Bearer:  :iconyaoi4evs:

better have fucking bought me a gorgeous diamond ring. Don't lose it.

The Flower Girl:  :icondeaththewriter:

Hah, there's no one better. Prance down that aisle like the sassy girl you are.

The Wedding Planner:  :iconississ-perok:

Oh, my dear friend, I pity you. I'm a hard girl to please. There better be roses. And a huge-ass cake. And glitter cannons.
I also require Fall Out Boy. Yes. Fall Out Boy. They must be there, or Silver will not be happy.

The Priest:  :iconkaynonymous:

I just ask that you don't set the altar on fire. I went to wedding once, and the tablecloth of the altar caught fire because
the priest moved a candle too close to the flowers. I'm going to Hell for this, but it was actually really funny to watch the priest panic while the newly-weds kind of just looked mortified, but also really disappointed in him.

The Bride's Maid:  :iconalphadragon02:

Bae, we goin' party like no tomorrow. I suggest a serious bachelorette night with anime, Netflix, and apple juice.           The works.

The Chef:  :iconredstringtied:

Ooh, I bet you're a wonderful cook~! Have fun, Red! Just make sure there's a buttload of tea. Tea is essentially my life.

The Father-In-Law:  :iconkhmewkairi:

My father or Phoenix's? Whatever the case, I'm sure you'll be super-protective. And I appreciate that. Thanks, Dad.

The Overjoyed Crying Mother-In-Law:  :icononlysoperf891:

You'll make a great Mum, Perf-chan. Just don't get snot all over your dress.

The Jealous One:  :iconxyourhero:

Psh, I should be jealous of you. With your fancy profile page and epic fics....how could you ever be jealous of me?

The Wedding Crasher:  :iconlifelessq:

There are no wedding crashers. Everyone is welcome at my wedding.
        The more
there are, the more presents I get the merrier.

The Photographer:  :iconzenyachao:

Hah, I hope you don't mind my ugly-ass face.

The Person Whose Wedding I'm Jealous Of:  :iconginjaninja2d:

I'm certain everyone will have a better wedding than me. I'm a cheap sonovabitch.

The Person Who's Only Here For The Cake:  :icondolunaylupus:

            THE CAKE IS A LIE.

And those are the results! You don't have to do the meme if you don't want to, by the way. I get you if you don't want to.

((FAAW stands for Fanfiction Authors Appreciation Week; it just wouldn't all fit in the title. ^^;))

As stated in the previous journal of mine, this week is Fanfiction Author Appreciation Week! This is a week dedicated to letting your favourite fanfiction authors know just how much you appreciate them! And even if you're an author yourself, you're still welcome to let your own treasured authors know how much you adore them~!

So, due to the fact that I have little time this week to send a personal note (my sincerest apologies; my family is cleaning the house and packing for vacation, hah), I shall be including the authors I have chosen to honour below! My favourite deviations, a little paragraph about them and their work, and a personal note from me to them! And so, here I go!

:iconanother-reynie-day: another-reynie-day

Another-Reynie-Day (BlackFang-124) first caught my attention through her Percy Jackson fics. Good God, they're amazing. I adore the way she can nail each and every character's personality—her portrayal of each is uncannily spot-on and I can see and hear those characters doing every action and saying every line she writes. She's immensely talented and I am always eager to read the next thing she comes out with. The way she writes is easy to follow and the formatting is aligned to my preferences—grammar and spacing and everything I hold dear is carried out wonderfully. It's clear to me that she puts effort into her writing; the plots are unique from what I've seen and her stories never fail to capture my attention and refuse to let go until I've finished the entire thing. I smile when I read her literature and I can feel the emotions emerge forth from the cleverly-woven words; the feelings are there behind the black and white of the print. It's a rare gift, and I am happy to have stumbled across a writer with the ability to incorportate such emotion into her fics. You do an amzing job with your works, Miss Reynie, and I hope that you never cease to share your ideas with us. Your writing is a gift to the community and I adore reading your stories!

Annabeth Chase is ruining her stupid life but the blonde is also her best friend, which she hates because blondie worries way too fricking much.  Lately, these pounding headaches have became more frequent and her head is pounding; she can't even concentrate. That doesn't mean she's dying, it's not unusual for her to have visions, it is usually a second of splitting pain and flickering images melded together, but they're more vivid than [Name] remembers them being. More coherent than she's used to and her efforts to clear away the Mist to see what is beyond are blocked by some force.
Of course, she confides to Annabeth. Blondie is her not directly blood-related sister. [Name] does find herself regretting it though. Sometimes, although she does find the Hecate Cabin homey, she would suffocat

Ignoring the gaping distance, neighboring countries and the rest of the world can probably hear the sound of two people arguing and being a general disturbance. As usual.
At least, [Name] has stopped throwing things at him (that's more for Arty's sake than for yours, because almost everything in the house belongs to him) and Arthur smartly doesn't purposely provoke you, since you're already ticked off. It's unusual that you haven't fought with him for almost a few days, hence why the neighborhood is uncharacteristically quiet.
Freakishly, at least [Name] thinks it is, two people with almost no common interests became close friends. Arthur hates you as much as you hate him and currently you are proclaimed enemies; at times like this, you try to keep your tongue because you're his roommate.
There are several rules set in place for the purpose of both Arthur's and your sanity. Also so his place doesn't end up trashed.

:iconfrozencrystalrose: FrozenCrystalRose

CrystalRose has a very charming way of writing. It's pleasant and smooth and flows extremely well. I was immediately taken by her Overburdened series; the idea of a workload for the poor Hetalian nations entertained me. Once I read through the intro, I was instantly in love with her writing. Something about the way she portrays the nations appeals to me, and since she nails their characterization so well, it's that much more painful to read her angsty oneshots because I can see my favourite nations dying. It's painful and bittersweet but very good, and I always love a well-written sad fic with that sense of melancholy woven into its paragraphs. She's talented when it comes to that feeling of sadness—she can capture it very well by establishing a long relationship between the reader and the characters, then tearing your heart apart when that long relationship comes to a close when Death plays his cold part. I especially adore her long oneshot with Prussia; that shattered my heart into a million pieces and it took a very long time to pick the shards up and paste them together again. I congratulate you on your talent, Crystal-chan, and I hope you continue to write! I'm happy we're friends and I can't wait to read more from you~!

Hetalia x Reader - Overburdened    You sighed, placing down your paperwork down on the table before rubbing your eyes. Your country, (C/n) just loved giving you paperwork, didn't they? You swiveled around in your chair, as you looked around the study that you shared with your husband. It was a large spacey room with one large, long, light brown desk with enough room for both you and him. Grinning slightly, you closed your eyes, rubbing them.

The sunlight of the early morning streamed into the room, giving it a natural, luminous look that made you feel free, despite the paperwork. Books in both the languages of you and your husband filled the large bookcases lining the wall. The walls were a creamy colour and the curtains that surrounded your curtain was white.
Around the room, there were pictures of your husband and his friends, you and your friends, but the main picture separating you and your husband's work area was your wedding picture. You looked at your laptop,

:iconississ-perok: Ississ-Perok

Ississ is another one of my favourites here on DeviantART. This girl has a very obvious gift for writing; she has a passion for it and it very obviously shows in her pieces. I admire her for may reasons, the most prominent probably being her gifted ability of making me cry. Not very many writers have the gift of incorporating such intense emotion into their stories that the reader themselves feel what the character(s) is/are feeling. It's a rare talent and one I look for in a writer. I'm extremely happy to have discovered her literature to help satisfy this wish. Ississ is one with wonderfully original ideas—ranging from dead characters interacting with a live reader to a sick and dying reader interacting with characters she's barely met. Ississ invokes such emotion in her fics and stuns me time and time again with her ability to make me feel—I admire her immensely for this. I do not lie when I say legitamate tears stream down my cheeks when I read some of her more melancholy works. You are undeniably sweet and friendly, not to mention helpful and very supportive of new writers looking for tips. You're one I see as both an inspiration and friend; someone I am lucky to be associated with. Ississ, I hope we remain friends and I pray that you continue to share your gift with us all.

Surely they would move on eventually, you were not something to be dwelled on after all.
The pen kissed the paper and danced along the blurry lines.  Your writing came out a bit shaky, but what else to be expected?  It was readable, and that was all that mattered.

Mew has time and time again astounded me with her prose. The way her words flow so willingly across the page make me want to keep reading more and more. I get easily get sucked into one of her fics and refuse to let my eyes leave the computer screen until I've finished reading. Her words effortlessly glue my eyes to the screen and I must finish the fic before I can move again. Her words are colourful and expressive and conjure up the most gorgeous pictures. The fact that she writes for a number of characters is a bonus for me—I enjoy variety and she delivers on that. She has a variety of genres as well; from fluffy to utterly romantic. I enjoy coming across some of the more poetic kind that can be interpreted in different ways; it provides me with a different story each time I revisit it, depending upon the mood I'm in. It's interesting to say the least and I never fail to savour in it. I'm extremely fortunate to know Mew as a friend here on dA, and I love being able to say I'm associated with her! I'm flattered that you come to me and present to me your ideas and ask for my opinions and the like, Mew-chan. I adore you and please, please never stop writing!

Utterly brilliant. These are the words that describe this girl's writing. Unbelievably talented, extremely immersive, and literature at its finest. I hardly find the words to adequately illustrate how amazing her writing is. There's something about her fics that brings you in and refuses to let you go—not to mention she nails the characters perfectly. Her portrayal of each is so spot on I sometimes wonder if she's truly a writer for Doctor Who and simply enjoys keeping her watchers in the dark about it. She's able to write each character so flawlessly I can hear them saying the lines and see them performing the actions she writes. I've never been so impressed by someone like this in a long time—and never favourited a deviant's entire gallery so quickly. I fell in love with the prose of this writer so fast it was as if she cast a spell over me; I can honestly state that she's one of my favourite writers I've found on the internet ever. And she doesn't stop at her fics—her descriptions of each work of literature are as equally genius as her stories. I find myself laughing very hard whenevr I finish reading one of her clever notes. I'm lucky to have come across her profile—she's incredibly talented and I wish with all my heart that I can one day be as talented as her. Miss KisstheRain, we may not know each other very well, but I would like you to know that you are unbelievably talented and I live for your work. You are skilled beyond measure and I hope I never live to see the day you stop writing.

Library Check-Out~Eleventh Doctor/Reader“It’s hard to explain how it feels, being in here,” you said, leaning against a desk, weight on your palms. The TARDIS library, with its levels and levels of shelves, practically engulfed you. You’d been working your way through it with the Doctor, learning the names of different galaxies, literary periods, and famous authors. You’d decided to start with the shelf closest to the doors and were now about three shelves over. “It’s sort of like being with you, actually.”
The Doctor looked up from a purple book with a holographic cover page. He gave you a teasing grin, hair falling into his face. “Not your best comparison, considering you are with me.” His eyebrows rose. “Unless this is one of those times “being with” gets fuzzy. So many possible meanings with you.”
You kicked him gently with the toe of your sneaker. “Oh, I do love it when you talk dirty with me. But that’s not wha
Back to School-Doctor/ReaderYou fiddled with the strap of your camera as you followed Sarah Jane and Headmaster Finch down the hall. As the photographer to Sarah Jane’s reporter, you weren’t as involved in keeping Finch engaged in the conversation, and instead had the freedom to look where you wanted. Occasionally you’d snap a picture and mutter, “Great lighting for a school—good for the learning environment” when the man looked at you. You’d learned after a few minutes that any word said to him made you feel absolutely oily, just like his overdone hair.
Sarah Jane was rattling away, keeping your cover with easy experience. Her voice faded as you lagged behind, taking a few pictures of empty classrooms. Looking up, you realize that she’d gone into the teacher’s lounge, and Finch was walking away toward the offices. You ducked into the lounge, nearly smacking into Sarah Jane’s back.
“Sorry, I lost you for a second,” you said, straightening you

“Stairs—what about the stairs?” John Smith raised his eyebrows and took a step back, confused by the interruption to his nervous chatter.
“They’re right behind you!”
He staggered for a moment, the books tipping his lean form backwards before he fell in a flurry of books and loose papers. Slamming into something soft, he heard a loud “Oof!” and another round of pages went flying into the air. Instinctively, John twisted so that when he finally slid to the bottom, there was a lithe body on top of his and a sharp throbbing in his head. His groan was answered by rustling skirts as his victim climbed off him.
“Mister Smith, are you all right?”
John blinked as the rather pretty face of the headmaster’s secretary swam in front of him. The sleek, wire-rim glasses usually perched upon her nose were gone, probably lost in their tumble

:iconmiabia100: Miabia100☆

Miss Miabia has a simply enchanting way of writing. I cannot put into words how much I adore her work, but I'm going to make an attempt. Her titles were the first thing that drew me in—so obscure and yet so appropriately suiting to the piece of literature that would soon follow. Then the words that I would read next; the utter genius that I would have the honour of reading....it's simply magnificent how well this girl writes. I find it marvelous and completely immersive, just beautiful. Miabia has a way of spinning (the admittedly ugly/riddled with consonants) English language into something gorgeous and breathtaking. Many of her fics simply take my breath away with their beauty, and yet others can reduce me to tears. Once again, I am fortunate to have come across this amazing writer, for she is another that can invoke rare and true emotion via her works—it's impressive to say the least. I hope that I can one day ascend to your level, Miss Miabia. You are one I admire greatly; I wish I could manipulate the English language as well as you can~! You're very talented and I adore many of your works. Please, never stop writing!

This girl has by-far some of the most outstanding literature I've ever had the pleasure of discovering here on the internet. I don't even know how I'm going to manage to not ramble on about how amazing she is, both in skill and personality. So I suppose I should start with skill. Phoenix has some of the most whimsical, descriptive, colourful writing I've seen in a long time. There's clear dedication in her works, and the language is simply magnificant. She takes inspiration and runs with it; from the English language she spins forth an immersive tale that I can picture clearly in my mind's eye. Her use of words is really what grabbed me in the beginning when I first read one of her pieces—the maturity and level of writing she is at far surpasses the majority of the people I've met in my life; which is saying something, because my aunt is a successful author. I find your work to be greater than hers, Phoenix, but don't tell her that. You astound me with your level of skill and I sometimes wish I had the capabilities to combat your own—your literature is beautiful. And then your personality....goodness, you're unbelievably kind and hilariously funny ("hilariously funny" is how I think of it; don't judge my use of literally the same adjective XD). Anyway, you're so sweet and supportive, and I look up to you. I hope you know that.

YourHero is a wonderfully-talented writer that I have had the pleasure of stumbling across. I'm immensely grateful for my apparent dumb luck, because without it, I wouldn't have discovered her profile page without it. I was simply browsing one day and—to be quite honest—her icon caught my eye. At the time it was Kanato my vampire bae for life, hah.... And that wasn't to say I hadn't come across her before, but this was truly the first time I browsed through her works and came to grips with just how talented of a writer she truly was. Something about her fics makes me smile; whether it be the fantastic 2p!Hetalia headcanons/scenarios, limes (that I take guilty pleasure in reading), or those sad yet fluffy oneshots. She's got a variety of fics and has the ability to write different genres, which is something I admire greatly and look for in a writer as well. The way she writes is easy and flowing and very satisfying, in a way. Typically, when I come across an author, I can read one work of theirs and decided whether or not their writing was for me. And when I came across Hero's, I was instantly enchanted. Your work is phenomenal, your writing is colourful and just lovely, and you can paint a picture for me with those words you use. We've only just recently met, Miss Hero, but I find you to be a funny and very kind person. You're someone I look up to and I take great pleasure in knowing that we have become somewhat associated with each other. I hope our friendship can only grow~!

Hey guys! It's your friendly neighbourhood author here, readying herself to announce something really awesome!

My best friend  :iconobscurephoenix:  just informed me of this amazing idea~!

It's Fanfiction Author Appreciation Week!

(Monday July 13th - Sunday July 19th)

....or at least it's a possibility!

Check out this Tumblr post! [Author Appreciation Week]

Basically, this is a week dedicated to fan fiction authors! The original person behind this post states that,

"After seeing how successful 'Love Your Artist Week' was, and all the love that went around there, I thought it might be nice to keep some of that going, and do something cool, specifically for fic authors. Fan fiction authors give so much to fandoms, whether they post fics once a day or once every couple of months. It takes a lot of effort and guts to not only write pieces, but to share them with the internet. However, they do often go under appreciated.

Fic writers typically don’t ask for commissions like other artists do and put the same amount of effort into their work for completely free, their writing gets far less notes than a piece of fan art would, and they don’t get the same exposure or even personal feedback. Of course, artists of all types are extremely talented and fantastic, but there is definitely an imbalance."

And I think she's 100% correct with that! I adore artists that have the talent to draw amazing portraits and funny scenes of my favourite characters, but I also have a lot of respect for people who can portray characters and conjure up hilarious, angsty, dramatic, and fluffy pieces of literature for varying fandoms! I think it's important to admire and cheer on both mediums, yeah? Art is beautiful, but literature is, too!

The poster then proceeded to explain how she thinks this could happen:

"For the week of Monday July 13th - Sunday July 19th, we should try to take part in a week that will give authors a chance to hear from their readers and fans!

And here’s a few ways to do that:

  • Each day, pick a fic writer or two, and send them a message. Let them know what you love about their writing, what your favorite piece is etc. Something nice and personal that will let them know their stories have power.
  • Reblog fics instead of liking them. More people will see them, more people will read them, and the author can get a wider range of feedback on their writing.
  • Create Fic Recommendation posts, where you share your favorite fics and WHY you love them!

Let’s let the writers of fandoms know that their work is so, so appreciated and help them to improve their craft! A simple message could be a writer’s reason to keep working, and to remember why they love sharing their stories in the first place!"

SPREAD THE WORD, GUYS! THIS IS AN EPIC IDEA!

It starts on my birthday (shameless plug, ha): Monday, July 13th, and ends Sunday, July 19th

I think this is a fantastic idea that should really become an annual thing! We need to honour our fellow authors! Not only would this help me, it would help a ton of you guys who I admire very much! Some of you are extremely talented writers, and some of you are improving, but all of us could use this! It'll both boost confidence and encourage people to keep writing!

So what do you say?

Will you spread the message?

List of Hetalia Human Names, Part 1

List of Hetalia Human Names, Part 2

THAT'S FUCKING
RIGHT. I DID ALL OF THIS SHIT. THE MAJORITY OF THESE NAMES CAME FROM HARD RESEARCH. AND OH MY GOD it's literally past four in the morning. It took me all day to transfer the info from my charts to this journal. You're very welcome. Enjoy my sleep-deprived rant. These names are important; they're the ones I'll be using in Blood of Nations whenever I use a country's human name (which is to say: all the time).

So, for now, ciao my lovelies~! I'm now off to bed, and I'll probably sleep in past 1:00 PM, but who fucking cares?!

EDIT: Hello, all! This is just a list of all the human names that I personally use (aka just the ones I prefer), put here for both my and my watchers' reference for a series I'm writing. Though anyone out there who wishes to use these names are totally allowed to do so, of course, as long as I'm given credit for the non-canon, non-fanon ones! I basically made up almost every single African nation's name, as well as all of the Oceania countries'. Some of the Asian countries' names are my own as well, and the names of the Part 2 List are all names of my invention, aside from Hong Kong's. The majority of the names on the Part 3 List (this one) are also mine, aside from the obviously canon/fanon ones like Ancient Rome, Prussia, Sealand, and some of the Nyotalia names. And the "United Honourable Gloritian Republic/Glorianna" is my own personal country, so I ask that you do not use it. Any of the other names on this list are free game, though!

And please, if you know something about the rules of surnames and see something incorrect on this list, go ahead and tell me in the comments! I would really like to know more about the different customs and such, and I want these lists to be as accurate as possible! So thank you, and I'll hopefully see some feedback from you all~!

List of Hetalia Human Names, Part 3

EDIT: Hello, all! This is just a list of all the human names that I personally use (aka just the ones I prefer), put here for both my and my watchers' reference for a series I'm writing. Though anyone out there who wishes to use these names are totally allowed to do so, of course, as long as I'm given credit for the non-canon, non-fanon ones! I basically made up almost every single African nation's name, as well as all of the Oceania countries'. Some of the Asian countries' names are my own as well, and the names of the Part 2 List (this one) are all names of my invention aside from Hong Kong's. The majority of the names on the Part 3 List are also mine, aside from the obviously canon/fanon ones like Ancient Rome, Prussia, and Sealand.
