To the shadow on the leaves,
Why is it you must deceive,
Illusory glimpses through the trees
A woman stands, lightning blues
Looking at me, piercing through
Her presence makes it hard to breathe.
The figure standing neath your branch
Strikes my heart and makes me blanch;
cloaked in black from head to toe,
Where she stands nothing may grow.
Fires burn in lonely eyes,
blue as in creation's morn
thunderclouds obscure the skies
Eternal faces creased with scorn
Lightning blue stares through my soul
and judges me
and finds me wanting
for love, for trust,
my ceaseless flaunting
Everything that was to keep me safe,

Sorry for being idle for so long.
I've returned and cleaned up my gallery a bit, and also got in a few new deviations (as you may have seen).

it is a strange bird
whose habit is
to fight itself
whose left wing
and right wing
both on the side
of justice and violence
and whose great beak
gobbles the poor
I just though I'd share that beautiful poem with you guys. You might see something inspired by this in my other account. Maybe.
