It's been a long time, I think. Over a year since I've posted here, over 18 months since I've drawn anything.
I don't know if this is a Hello or a Goodbye. It's probably something less grounded -- more of a "I am alive, and different."
Let me explain. I posted on my website a few months back that I was not entirely sure what to do about this site, or my personal website since I have not been able to draw anything. (I don't have any real desire to go into the reasons why said art block has stuck so hard or the possibility that it may be this way from here on out.) I had been thinking about a move to artstation or pixiv or a few of the other
I have a new job. It is an overnight job with multiple hours and a lot of different challenges. Between being so far behind on my personal life and patreon and commissions and everything else, I will probably not be checking DA regularly for notes/art/anything. I have had to put so much on hold during 2017 for little to no payoff that I can't put them on hold anymore, which means new content from me wont be coming until a ways into 2018. Right now, it's everything I can mentally do to get myself through the
I want to give a very big thank you to people who were looking for commissions and helped me out while they could. I made about half of what I needed to for last month which is good, but it means that I'm back to where I was at the end of September so I'm going to be focusing my energy on my website, etsy store, and full-time job search. For the time being, discount commissions are off the table.
I am still open for commissions & freelance work through my website. My normal rates are around $20/hour and I am glad to give anyone an estimate if they are interested.
I haven't been posting as much because I'm trying to work o
*hugs back* S'all good, hon. I'm so far removed from online stuff I'm surprised anyone bothers to look at my dump of a DA site anymore. I've had Gaster art in my brain for most of the year and I dont think I've gotten the time to any of it. I just sort of feel lost right now.
