My Bio
Currently at university studying a double degree of Science (majoring in biology) and Education (secondary ed.). Science is my love and my life, and so is music.
Art is a hobby for me, and with my lack of good quality resources (I'm a student, so there), I get by with basic pictures using very simple materials.
I'm eager to learn more and more about art and the ways to improve, and my gallery really shows a progression in my art. Most of my work is fan art, and traditional. I like to paint and draw, I dream of one day getting a desktop computer (I just have a small netbook), photoshop and a tablet to go further!
I'm currently less active on DeviantArt as my studies increase and I'm juggling part-time work too. I plan on doing a massive overhaul on my gallery once I start adding new drawings, because I'm starting to go in slightly different directions than I have in the past, and my gallery is just so disorganised!
Thanks to all my watchers, who have stuck by me all this time. Thanks to anyone who favourites my artwork, I still get excited every time. Thanks to the world around me for giving me inspiration, ideas, tips, and help in my art adventure.

It's me! Rising from presumed dead status!
No, no I haven't (quite) abandoned my deviantart account. I've just moved house twice in less than a year, and have actually lost my digital camera. Which sounds so typically 'me'. It was a terrible camera anyway, but now I have no means of submitting art at all now besides my camera phone. I refuse to submit them on deviantart through this medium, so some new drawings of mine will occasionally pop up on my Tumblr http://living-in-outer-space.tumblr.com

Just about to take a photo of some sketches and wips. Unfortunately, I just remembered by sister has taken the camera on holidays with her. I have no scanner (though, my paintings would be too large to scan) and using my mobile phone's camera is poor quality and not even worth posting on a site dedicated to art.
So really, my mild laziness and lack of progress is masked by the fact that I can't actually show you any art.
So I'd like to thank you for hanging in there, my sister is back in a week or two so I'll be taking lots of photos then.

Today, my friend and I visited a large collection of Picasso's artworks that are only in Australia for a limited showing, so I was quite lucky to get a gimpse!
It was spectacular! Really and truly. The textures, the brush strokes, the washes. the colours and the emotions. I walked around the exhibition and had to keep reminding myself to close my mouth, as it was hanging open a lot of the time.
Anyway, I ate a delicious gnocci afterwards and I felt I had to share my little experience with you.
