My Bio
Well, that's me :)
There's not much know about me. I started photography as a hobby when I was 15 years old. (Actually, a bit earlier, but that's when I started to really get into it) Once I moved from this horribly little automatic I had to my dad's old Canon AE1 I was hooked for life. The Canon EOS 300D (I believe it's called digital rebel in the states) was my first step into the digital medium and I am currently the proud owner of a Canon EOS 7D.
I am however an amateur photographer. I tend to shoot for quantity and hope for some lucky shots. I love taking pictures of unsuspecting peoples on events or parties, and it's somewhat my specialty. But since it's not really appropriate to publish picture of people who don't know about it I limit myself to all the other stuff I did over the years. Recently I hooked up with a local group of fire performers and do a lot of shooting with them.

If I am not stuck behind my camera there's a good chance you'll find me behind some sort of computer. Once I realized that I was not nearly good enough as a photographer to make any money out of it I simply made my second hobby into my profession. Sadly this doesn't leave me much time for anything else, but the IT pays well enough to at least keep my equipment up-to-date.

Last but not least, if it's Monday night you'll find me at the movies in the sneak-preview. I am a real big movie fan, and frequent the local movie theater quite a lot.

Comments and suggestions on all my pictures are highly welcome and I will try to return the favor as quickly as I can.

Well, hope you'll find something you like!

Full flash site, okay that would make it harder to get the images. (Far from impossible, but at least the average kid wont be able to do it) Not really a flash fan myself, but if it'll let me see a higher res version of your great photographs I guess I'll make an exception :)

Looking forward to that! Though I am kinda curious, what you are planning to do there that you can't do here?

Sadly I can understand this. I just wish one wouldn't have to take such measures to prevent art theft :( There are so many incredible pieces of art here on dA that you can't fully appreciate because the resolution is somewhat limited. But hearing so many stories from people whose art got ripped of it's certainly understandable.

This is truly remarkable!
It's incredible how clear and crisp the cormorant is, I find it really hard to photograph birds and had very limited success so far. But the level of detail you captured here is just great.
What I find makes this one truly stand out though is the added detail in the sky. Not only are the colors a truly wonderful addition to the bird, which appears to the split the sky into brown and blue, but the detail in the clouds is simply stunning.

Cannot remember many photographs that I found this visually stunning.

This is a wonderful photograph and only nitpick I have is that you only have such a small resolution online here <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt=";)" title=";) (Wink)"/> (I would love to see a bigger version...) and that I might have put the cormorant a little more to the left, but that's just a minor detail.

Mir ist gerade was aufgefallen.
