Xubuntu Showcase Submission GuidelinesSubmitting a screenshot to Xubuntu-Showcase: gives the Xubuntu project full rights to reproduce and use the image on its website, in marketing materials and in any other efforts by the Team to promote and distribute Xubuntu. Safe for workXubuntu is used by professional organizations, including schools, government offices and nonprofit agencies. All images and language used in screenshots should be “Safe for the workplace” and appropriate for all viewers. Screenshots including nudity, sexual content, extreme violence, foul language or other offensive material will not be considered for inclusion. License and copyrightAll submissions must confirm that they have permission to share a background or other desktop image (either through direct ownership or through licensing which allows it to be included in a screenshot). Our preferred licence is Creative Commons. No advertisingDo not use a background image or an application that promotes your company, affiliation or coded application. Open a window!Screenshots should be formatted with a single program open, not maximized, preferably a stock Xubuntu application. If others are included, obviously in use (a Conky config, dock replacing a panel, etc.) and integral to the screenshot, please specify this in your submission. Image resolutionScreenshots with any screen resolution are fine, as long as as an original and uncompressed version is included. SubmissionsAll users are allowed to propose their screenshots to be showcased in this group. If they comply with the rules above they will be aproved, keep in mind that aproving need that at least 3 of the moderators consider that the submission its correct. |
