Sally wants to buy a camera for photography. She's looking at some Nikon, but finds out that it can only record video at 1080p30, but no higher. So she concludes that "I guess I'll have to settle for Canon or Sony", despite the fact that:

* Canon and Sony likewise can't go higher than 1080p30 for videos.

... while ignoring and paying no attention to things that actually matter for photography.

This entire discussion is you being a Sally. Nikon, Sony and Canon are Windows, iOS and Android. 1080p30 is flat design.
