gonna do a whole big thing with all of them because I'm bored. give 'em all updated refs n' shit. in one deviation. god help me.
I'll start off with Toontown Rewritten, since that's the one I've been with the longest (Two whole years come summer! I started when the restricted beta was going on, with the PlayLine and all). Anyway! So, since I started in TTR I've made two and a half accounts worth of Toons, or 15 total. Three of which are my most played, the older two are Hairy Pawter and Frostbite, who are at 120 and 54 Laff respectively, and the youngest higher Toon I have is Soundlessly Stoic (A small crimson cat, since a higher-laff black cat rewrote her name to mine without knowing ;D), who is 118 Laff (Yet more proof that you can survive without sound! But that's a discussion for a later date). And I've enjoyed every minute of it! With that out of the way, I'd like to highlight the game itself. It's similar to Toontown Online of course, but with it's own unique features. The TTR team have devoted themselves to keep their game as close to Disney's as possible while still improving it, this includes fixing a bunch of well-known glitches that often made Mints and Offices more easy to skip, trying to improve minigames like Golf and Racing (the latter is still in the works), and overall enhancing both larger and smaller elements in the game. They added pictures of Cogs to the battle HUD in order to make the levels and health more easily known, are working on making Doodles easier on their servers, and improving the graphics of Toontown while making it run smoother! The team also have a plan in the works for SpeedChat to be in a number of other languages, and have given the players the power to at least partially recreate their Toon identity (Color, body type, and name. Species/Gender and Gag Rewrites won't be coming out). They've also added their own creations, like new Toon colors and clothes/accessories to spice it up a bit, despite some of TTO's original clothing articles still being unreleased. I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting, but let's move on to their team and the overall community. The TTR team are very dedicated, with the leader of it all being just my age! How inspiring. The staff are friendly and don't mind joking around, and often insist that Toons bring their ideas to them so the game can be shaped by the community. Of course not all ideas are taken, but I'm sure a lot of them will be. The team even hosts live ToonFests! The first was last year at OMG!Con in Kentucky, with the second one coming up this year at the same place. Remember those old Toontown Mailers that you could subscribe to? They've got those in the works, as well! A week or two ago most of the team even participated in a livestream by the creators of ToonHQ (Which if you don't know is a really helpful website for TTR players. It shows Cog invasions, groups for buildings, trolley, boss battles, factories, mints, offices, training, a fish rarity guide, and the run schedule for the Cold Callers' Guild (A helpful group for newer Toons who wanna do boss runs)). Now, the community. Ohh, those silly nerds. Most of them are amazing! TTR often brings in around 2,500 to 3,000 daily players, with more flooding in around the summer months. These people are often old players of TTO (of course, but I have met a few kids who were completely new) who valued the game and want to see it improved and grown upon. It is the largest community out of the Toontown servers, which of course comes with it's drawbacks. It's probably one of the most hacked-into (I witnessed one. It was baaaad, but that's why the team made ToonGuard!) and has a small group of really, really salty players. Normally I'd name drop them since I know quite a few from doing soundless mint and office runs, but I'll be nice and be quiet. Most are very strategic and willing to help new Toons learn, but with a big fan/hatebase comes a lot of impatient people who forget that it's all a game. 'Nuff said.
Moving on to a new discovery of mine, Toontown Infinite! Now, when I first started TTR of course I found out about this one as well. It wasn't in a great way, though as it was someone from TTR that was telling me about it and they weren't too happy. So I stayed away until earlier this week when I finally decided to give it a go. Instantly when I heard the remixed music I fell in love with this version of Toontown, even more-so when they presented me with a color wheel to customize my Toon! In Create-A-Toon they added more sliders to select shirt and pant type and then each article of clothing's color on a separate slider, and the rest was the same. They didn't have the Toontorial with Tutorial Tom or anything, though. It just sent me with my new Toon to Toontown Central. My toon on TTI, by the way, is Bonnie Bumblebee. She's a medium-sized light purple bear with currently 33 Laff points. I'm gonna go ahead and make her toonupless, since with my soundless I was spoiled with both trap and drop but I don't know enough about TTI's community to go soundless quite yet. TTI has made quite a few changes that are apparent right from the start. All the music from TTO has been remixed into it's own cute new tune (including the Estate, which also comes with a shiny new fisherman! Yay!), and the speech bubbles get a little more animation to them rather than it just appearing there. Some buildings have been expanded on (The Bank, Library, and Toon Hall all are a bit more spacious than TTO), and you can actually store your beans at the TTC Bank. In TTI, you can even create your own Guild! It costs 10,000 beans to make one, and I haven't experienced being in one for myself yet, but there is a leaderboard to climb! Some Trolley games have been altered slightly, whether it's adding a few more bushes in Jungle Vines or the complete turning of the camera in the cog barrels one (which I'm not very fond of, it kinda makes it more difficult to aim from a bird's eye view camera). The jellybean jar you carry with you also seems to have TARDIS technology, being able to hold what I could only imagine to be 15,250 jellies (I only got to 700-something before I decided I had enough from my new Toon), and I absolutely love that they altered the tasks a bit. I have noticed some grammatical errors in them and very similar tasks (There's two explosive-based ones that start out almost identically), but what I loved was that the TTI team incorporated some Toons that we never actually got to meet in TTO. Like the nurse from Funny Bone Emergency Room, and the guy from Used Firecrackers or the seltzer bottle place. These Toons have their own unique dialogue and task that has never been seen before, and I'm excited to see the other neighborhoods' background Toons shine. To be honest, I can't say much about the TTI staff since I haven't been around long enough to find out about them. I'm very sure they're dedicated like the TTR team, since the launcher is beautiful (I think the artist who made it has a deviantART? Slendytoon something I think. It looks familiar) and they've put time into remixing, rewriting, and adding things to make their game stand out from TTR. The community, from what I've experienced, is very welcoming and nice. Now, I've only seen about 60 daily players which makes it really difficult to progress (Darn you, building tasks!!) since many players are far past where I am, but I have met some nice Toons who are willing to duo and trio buildings, even a maxed player with 60-something laff offered to duo a three-story with me. I think they understand how small their in-game community is and are willing to help.
That's it on the individual games! Now just a bit in general. I've observed a lot of animosity between these two groups, which may or may not have lead to the state that the TTI wiki is in right now (there's nothing there, but the comments have hinted that someone intentionally decimated each page), and I wonder why. Both servers are unique and deserve to be experienced with open minds, so I encourage you all to at least try 'em. Maybe I'll see you around! I hope I do on TTI, I need more people to bust buildings with :/

SHE'S FOUND NOW???EDIT 2: GUYS WE FOUND HER. She was at the hospital, someone had called 911 yesterday and got her admitted. We are no longer looking for her, but she is being very difficult and stubborn with us. To everyone who spread the information, thank you, but we no longer need it!
Hello guys, something happened recently that has pretty much shaken my family. For those of you who don't know, I was due to move at the end of this week...however, things have changed. My disabled mother has run away from home. We have no idea where she is, but we do know that she wasn't wearing shoes when she left, she didn't take her phone and wallet, and she left our front door wide open the night she disappeared. I don't normally ask for this, but I am begging, please spread this. Spread this and hopefully we can find her before it's too late. She doesn't have any money, so I don't know what she's doing for food and I just....I'm so scared. I'm still shaking

A screenshot from Scott Cawthon's website, and if you can't read it it says 'I am still here.' with what I think is Golden Freddy on it. I know there's supposed to be a third game coming out, so maybe that's it but I dunno.. if it is GF, maybe he plays a bigger role than usual? This is the first time I've looked at the site since it said 'merry christmas' on the bottom, so this might've not been the first change. Oh well, whatever it's for, I'm excited uvu

Now I'm off to hide in a corner because it just got much, much worse.
I started DA a little over two years ago after hearing about it through the Chatlands as a way to broadcast what I like to do. I think it's been a major part in my artistic development, and has helped me create friends with new ideas and things to introduce me to. I find inspiration in the things posted on this site, and its friendly users and hope to use it for as long as I can. That's about all I have.. heh, not much of a story but then again I've only been here two years c: Happy Birthday DeviantART!
