History: Mufasa was the first born of King Ahadi and Queen Uru and, heir to the next leader of Priderock. As a cub he became a big brother to his little brother Taka, and their little sister Amani whom he adored. Being the oldest meant mufasa had to be prepared to one day take his father's place, leading to his father's time being spent much more with the older prince than his older siblings, despite Ahadi tried his best to show equal attention. While Amani understood and didn't care much for being royal, Taka felt otherwise which caused the brothers to, at times, fight and argue over Taka's jealousy. Mufasa grew up becoming friends with Anaya and Anala's daughters, though over the years he grew much closer to Sarabi. This caused a huge fight between him and Taka in their teenage years, where his younger brother attacked him for the right to court sarabi= something she soon learned after catching the brothers fighting, and defended mufasa saying that she should have the right to chose who she wanted. Mufasa agreed but taka was furious and claimed his elder brother stole her from him, causing a further rift between the pair- despite this though it still pained mufasa when Taka left, after the death of Hajar who tried to kill their father.
As an adult Mufasa took his father's place as king, taking sarabi as his queen for the pair loved each other very deeply. Not long after it was found out that sarabi was expecting their first cub, though sadly Simba would be born much after his grandfather's death and the return of his uncle Taka, now going by the name scar. Over the years Mufasa kept a very close eye on his brother who very clearly still, held resentment towards his brother and family- eventually that resentment led to Scar tricking Simba into the middle of a deadly stampede, that resulted in the death of mufasa and the "death" of simba. It was unknown to Mufasa that Sarabi had found out she was again expecting, having planned to surprise her king and son later that day.
