Usiku was not blind nor was she stupid. How dare Uwezo do this to her! Was this the king his pride would be proud of? It had gone on long enough before Usiku confronted Uwezo on the amount of time spent with, that stupid lioness Minentle- particularly this morning after he vanished off to who knows where last night. The Queen Consort pointed out she was not blind to how her husband looked at his old friend- the lioness who truly and always would have uwezo's heart. Usiku though was accusing the male of cheating on her, of being unfaithful unlike she had been towards him- even blaming his friend for being the reason he kept pushing off having cubs with his queen- a duty he needed to help fulfill as a good king.
Needless to say, arguments started happening more and more, some which Usiku made very public- wanting all of Mlima to know that their king was unfaithful and how Minenlte was a husband stealer, using her daughters to win Uwezo over along with a sob story of Minentle's Ex-husband Hisada. There did not seem to be any chance of saving this marriage, not with Uwezo defending Minnie and standing up for himself against his controlling and lying wife. What would the other prides think though? After all this marriage was Uwezo's idea after all, and now he was backing out with eyes for another already. Was he really ready or worthy to be king? Is This the king Mlima wanted?
