PRE-GROUP HISTORY

Inaya was born after a long and hard labor that sadly took her mother's life due to the bleeding. Her father Symba simply did not care that his mate died, only furious that she gave him a daughter instead of a son. Nevertheless, the lion raised his daughter, but with a stern and firm claw- always scolding her and never letting her forget the fact she was born a female and would never be the son he deserved. Despite the treatment of her father, Inaya always tried to be a happy cub and listen to her father during lessons- she pushed growing up to be something maybe he'd be proud of even just a tiny bit. As much as she wanted to be a healer to help others, Inaya strived to become a part of the guard when she became of age for training- something she felt only the bravest and most worthy of the pride could handle, something maybe her father would see as making her worth his love in her eyes.

Still her father criticized her, and even blamed her for her mother's death. Inaya finally realized she would never be the son her father wanted, nor proud of anything she did- simply because of her gender. When the Nguvu rebellion took place her father of course, was a strong believer and supported uprising of course- which did not shock Inaya given who he made it clear, she was never the cub he wanted due to her gender. Regardless of how sour of a note thing ended after cutting off her father, Inaya was still heart-broken when he fell sick and ended up passing away when she was just be coming of age as an Adult. However, as much as she was joyful, she did not have to put up with him, she can't help but feel guilty about being happy he is dead.

GROUP HISTORY

Flooding from the great storms caused Nguvu to evacuate their home, claiming the lives of many pride members but also the life of their king. Not even minutes after the loss of their king, the Brute Hisada named himself the new ruler of Nguvu and wasted no time with instating a law for Nguvu to repopulate their pride, even if it meant stealing cubs. Due to the floods effecting Nguvu and Usta, the two prides sought refuge in Mlima where Val's daughter Lucia was born. Given who Lucia's father was, Inaya immediately felt the need to protect and be there for the young cub, making friends with her without issues and being there when Lucia needed her. During the pride's time in Mlima's territory, Inaya ran into someone she had not seen in two years- Hakim! He was a former Nguvu warrior, and unlike any of the males in their pride he was kind to her, gentle and soft- while also being intimidating due to the mutation he shared with their king, whom he dislikes.

The pair spent as much time as they could with, hakim promising he would rejoin Nguvu but life had other plans as he was called to help some friends back home after getting lost from their own pride with cubs due to the flooding. He did promise one he returned to rejoin Nguvu who was traveling back home once the storms died down. Once again though fate had plans as a lockdown was put in place within all the prides, when a mysterious illness broke out- Hisada blaming mostly Mlima. Despite the strict rule during lockdown of no one in and no one out, Inaya managed to sneak out every now and then to meet Hakim when he returned- and though he was unable to join until the lockdown was lifted, she was just happy to spend time with her friend whom she had fallen in love with.

Not everything was happy though, Lucia was growing up and becoming more angry- so much so that she lashed out as Inaya after winning a sparring match between them. It got to the point where the teenager attacked Inaya, giving her scars on her right shoulder. Despite this though Inaya will never look at Lucia any differently than the lioness she wants to protect, a lioness she will always welcome back with open arms. As an Illness spreads across the lands and through the prides, Hisada announced he sees Usta and Mlima as the ones to blame for such a sickness- and is cutting alliances with them. Luckily despite the bad that has come since the sickness began, with hisada manipulating Former Usta lioness Minnie into a marriage for his own gain- Inaya has found happiness with a former Nguvu warrior named Hakim, now a rouge though that did not stop the paid from eloping in secret with her friends Val and Minnie to witness.

The day finally came where Minnie gave birth to her cubs- four daughters and no sons leading Hisada to nearly kill minnie just to try and kill his daughters. Luckily Minni's father had come for a visit hearing his daughter was to be a mother and came just in time to fight hisada to the death- giving her a chance to run with her newborns to Inaya, beni, and lefu. While lefu went to try and help Minni's father, Inaya escaped with minnie and the newborns to Hakim who stayed in a den within the territory. Eventually lefu met up with them bringing her twins with her- Inaya decided to travel to Mlima with her husband, helping minnie with her newborn daughters alongside Lefu and her own young twin cubs. Taking a rest in Usta before heading out to Mlima- Inaya found out she was pregnant with her own litter of cubs with Hakim. After settling in, Inaya and Hakim were blessed with three cubs' days after Uwezo's nasty Divorce with his wife Usiku- after she threatened Minnie and her daughters. Unknown to them at the time, Hisada placed a bounty of her head, as well as Minnie's and Lefu after claiming they made an attempt on his life.

The birth of her best friend's four cubs was a joyful day in Mlima, the king had a daughter as his named heir and it was far more of a happier time than, when Minnie had her first little of four. However, news of Usta being under attack reached mlima leading to a group with Inaya leading them, to travel and aid Usta. It did stress her that two of her sons were coming along to fight in the war, and it also stressed her leaving Hakim who was dealing with some health issues- and their estranged daughter Bina who, was bullying others and even Princess Bahati's adopted teenage daughter. She would have no idea what was happening back at home until she got back.... if she made it back from the war.

Upon fighting the battle in Usta, Inaya and her sons gained some scars though the war was won in usta's favor! However, returning home the victory was short lived as the family discover not only has Bina gone missing but Hakim had passed while they were gone. He had meant to join his family but stayed behind last minute, promising to catch up- however the giant had fallen ill before he was set to leave and did not inform his wife to avoid her worries. but the male was fading even as he was out searching for Bina who, had run away after a fight with Bhinzi, adopted Niece of King Uwezo.

In the wake of her husband's death and as her sons are now grown adults, Inaya had adopted an orphaned cub named Daudi who lost his mother during childbirth- just as Inaya had lost her own mother when she was born. The little hybrid helps the lioness in her grief and knowing that her biological cubs are growing up and may not need the ageing lioness anymore. After all, how many grown offspring still spend time with their parents or those who raised them? they have their own lives after all, and Inaya would not wish to hold them back from living it to the fullest.

Unknown to Inaya her son Boga and his childhood crush Oyana- daughter of Inaya's best friend Minnie, married around the same time she attended the wedding of Oyana's sister Marini and Inaya's other son Bora. In fact, the brothers even became new fathers at the same time, though Boga and Oyana have been keeping their marriage and cubs a secret for the time being from even their own families. As far as Inaya knows she is the happy grandmother to two little cubs bore to Bora and Marini, and she truly couldn't image being as happy as she was the day she got to hold the newborns.

When Usta announced the games, many signed up to take part in some while others went to watch or support friends and family. That's when Inaya and the rest of the royal family found out about the two little male cubs kept secret by their parents Boga and Oyana. Inaya was ecstatic to learn she had two other grandcubs to spoil, despite she wished they would have said something she understood they wanted privacy for reasons unknown to her. She loves her grandcubs very much, happy to watch them and spend time with them while others went to usta for the games.

Just before the games within usta ended though, Inaya's best friend who was like a sister to her was killed by hyenas- lefu having died saving her granddaughter Haki who was badly wounded on her face, but alive. Inaya did her best to help her best friend's family, as Kieggo had passed not long before Lefu had due to health complications and his age. Negative events did not end there as after kuwa's family came home from the games to new of the deaths- Inaya's adopted son Daudi had been attacked by a water buffalo and mangled badly, losing sight in one eye and many physical scars as well as mental ones. Despite Inaya's age she did not stop being there for the young teen as he did his best to recover both physically and mentally from the attack. However, for one night Inaya's family would find the elderly lioness seemingly asleep in her den- only to discover she passed in her sleep peacefully.
