PRE-GROUP HISTORY

Haoniyao was born just a small bit before Usta was able to make the journey back to their pride, after the flooding forced them to flee and seek refuge within Mlima as did Nguvu. However, despite his mother had been overjoyed with her newborn son- the happiness in her life turned to anger when she found out her mate had cheated on her while she was still pregnant with their son. By the time Usta made the trip back to their Territory the couple had divorced leaving Haoniyao in his mother's care- naming her son after of the betrayal her ex-husband made. 

He was never allowed to speak or see his father, though that wasn't much of an issue given the male was one of the first to die quickly from a plague that spread across the lands like wildfire. As much as his mother hovered over him, Haoniyao took the path of a guard- though his mother wasn't happy he took the rank his father once held. It didn't matter to him though, as he worked hard over the years to reach to the rank of guard main.
