PRE-GROUP HISTORY

Following the destruction of their homeland in Kambuku Isle, Salabha's biological mother, Habiya, had been a young survivor still in the care of her parents - who had passed in the conflict. In her travels as a nomadic rogue, she'd found a true love to keep her company in due time with Indigo, another tiger who she had reunited with not long after the fall. Eventually she fell pregnant with the male's cubs' years down the line. Indigo would fall prey to a passing conflict with rogue lions he'd perceived as a threat, forcing the pregnant tigress to flee in order to prevent her own death. The stress of the situation had caused her to go into labor prematurely some days later while still travelling in haste further and further away from where the tragedy had occurred. The birthing process had been difficult, and two of the four cubs born would pass away. Haisam and Salabha were the survivors, but their mother wasn't long for the world. By some stroke of luck, the tigress was found by Mbita, and despite her fear of the future and even these strangers, she begged them to take her cubs and give them a life she wouldn't be able to give them now. She faded shortly after, before an answer had even been given.
